This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. horrible pans
I really wanted the set but decided just to get one pan before spending the money on a whole set and I'm glad I did. The pan worked great for about a week. Well kind of. I had to season it twice, then a third time, then a fourth time. It was working well then things started sticking and burning on the pan and it was becoming impossible to clean. I decided to try to season it one more time. Didn't work. Now everything is sticking and burning. I've tried cooking on lower heat, I even added oil to the pan to make eggs and even with oil in the pan they stuck horribly. I didn't even get a month out of my pan. I have followed the instructions for seasoning and washing to a T. This pan just flat out sucks. I will continue to search for decent nonstick pans and leave these alone. Not worth it. Just another as seen on TV gimmick.

2. STOP and think Cheap Pans
Was shipped very fast and I received the set before I expected, well the good stopped there. I opened the Orgeenic Cookware Set/ Non-Stick, Ceramic Green box and found NO packing slip, well I was going to love it so didn't give it a second thought. Looking at the pans my friends and I (I had them take a look at them to make sure that it was just not me) the first thing we all said was that they seemed very flimsy, second thing was the handle was flat and thin in your hand yet the peist de resistance was the handles on the lids, the edges were so sharp, OMG cut the hand right away. with it not dishwasher safe and having to season them at least two or three times a year they are just not worth the work for cheap pans, (I did not cook in them because they are going back)

Would NOT recommend!!!
I was so excited to be buying my first complete set of nice pots and pans after piecing together a non-stick set from sale items and wally world. I seasoned them just as the directions stated and lectured everyone in the family on how we'll never put one in the dishwasher, etc. Unfortunately, three have burn marks from food sticking on the bottom! Once food begins to stick, there's no stopping it! I scrubbed one and removed all the black marks, but it seems to have taken off the nonstick coating and now it's even worse! Everything sticks!!! Also, within two uses, the large rectangular grill pan is severely warped and cannot cook any food evenly. If I push down one edge, the other is at least an inch off the burner. Also, it comes with NO GUARANTEES! I have only owned them for a little over a month and am wrecked that I threw away money on them AND gave my old pots and pans away to a family member just starting out. Please don't waste your money like I did!

This Pressure Cookers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. 7 years later
This is an excellent pressure cooker at an excellent price. I do feel they should have included a trivet and metal plate. All of the accessories are extra.

I ordered the canning rack which holds 4 pints. I don't believe it would be wise to try to can quarts in this one, but the directions were not clear. In fact, I would have given this a much higher rating if they were, but I had trouble figuring out how to use it...and one does want to follow directions where a pressure cooker is concerned. They kept referring to to pressures, hi and low. I finally realized the 6 qt model has both but not the 10 and the directions were applicable to each model. The 10 quart pressures at 15 lbs....FAST!

I once had Fagor 6 qt model and the metal was heavier than this one. However, the upside is that it is easier to lift up to pour things from it which is a plus if you're elderly as I am.

I really like they way this cooks; fast, easy to clean. It's beautifully designed...

2. Excellent Value for Excellent Food
I have wanted a pressure cooker for some time, and recently received this one as a gift. I have used it a number of times since getting it, and it is becoming my favorite cooking utensil. Since getting it, I have cooked:

- beans (less than 25 minutes to perfect texture with NO presoaking)

- chicken (25 minutes to fall-of-the bone tenderness)

- roast (the most tender, juicy and best tasting my family has eaten)

A 10-quart cooker may be somewhat larger than many people think they need. I love the large size because I can cook for family or for company and don't have to worry about not having enough room. This is a simple to use, easy to clean way to have delicious food for a family in a hurry. From taking a chiken out of the refrigerator to dinner on the table is often less than 40 minutes. While this is also true of other pressure cookers, the Fagor Splendid cooker has easy to use locking mechanisms, and it's simple design makes it reliable...

Great for everything from soups to stews
This has been an amazing addition to my kitchen! I've used it for numerous stocks and stews, I've made beautiful batches of coq au vin, I've even used it for shortcutting the cooking required for molé. Everything's turned out wonderfully, and I always get plenty of complements from my wife and kids.

Everything about the unit is a joy. The heavy bottom is terrific when browning up meats and vegetables for cooking. The lid's latch is easy to work. The valve assembly comes apart quite easily for thorough cleaning, and I've even taken the lid assembly completely apart to get back into the various nooks and crannies.

This cooker gets frequent use around here and has always been up to the task. I love it!

Bayou Classic 1044 44-Quart Stainless-Steel Stockpot

Cheapest Bayou Classic 1044 44-Quart Stainless-Steel Stockpot
==================================================================

Complimenting a true outdoorsman's personality, this pot is durable, reliable, and versatile. Use to boil seafood, clams and vegetables. Cook soups, stews, gumbo, jambalaya, and low country boil. Perfect pot to boil peanuts and homebrew beer.
  • 44-quart stockpot holds large batches of crowd-pleasing soup or stew
  • 20-gauge stainless-steel construction resists rust and corrosion
  • riveted side handles for safe and easy transport
  • Steaming rim can be used with steaming basket (sold separately)
  • Measures 13-1/2 by 13-1/2 by 17-1/4 inches

This Stockpots give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Great pot for the price
I use this pot to boil wort for beer making. It was about the most inexpensive stainless steel pot I could find of it's size. I wanted to be able to do full boils and this can boil 8 gallons without boiling over.

The steel is a bit thin, but I expected this for a pot under $100. Although the walls are thin, I have not no issues with strength or build quality. I feel completely comfortable picking the pot up with 6 gallons of boiling liquid in it. Although heavy, the handles are up to the task and remain cool.

Although there are higher quality pots out there, I don't think you can find another pot at this price at this quality level. I would recommend this pot to anyone looking for a large stock pot and a good price.

2. Brewer's brewpot
I bought this pot to boil all-grain full boil worts in beer making. I does this job quite well. This pot holds a full 9 gallons and will boil a 7 or 8 gallon wort easily. All stainless steel with two lifting handles that can handle the weight of the full batch and a vented cover make it ideal for brewing 5 gallon batches either all-grain or from extract. And this pot can go from brewing beer to steaming lobster to large batches of soup. Would recommend this pot for all home brewing needs, especially the all-grain brewer who needs to boil the full batch.

Excellent value for my homebrew!!!!!!
I was worried about the thickness of this pot but I am not worried anymore. It is quite thick and I can pour 7 gallons of homebrew from the pot to the fermenter without any bending. The lid is nice and sturdy and I would definitely buy this again. I bought it for $75 with free shipping from Amazon. You can't beat that deal. The rivet holes for the handles leaked the first time I brewed in it but haven't leaked since then. I have used it for 5 brews and 2 corn roasts. Great pot!

Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast-Iron 5-1/2-Quart Round French Oven, Cherry

Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast-Iron 5-1/2-Quart Round French Oven, Cherry Shown in Flame Color Shown in Flame Color Also known as a Dutch oven, this updated kitchen classic enhances the cooking process by evenly distributing heat and locking in the optimal amount of moisture. With ergonomic handles and an advanced interior enamel that resists chipping and cleans easily, Le Creuset's French ovens blend the best of the past with the latest innovations in comfort and functionality. • 45% larger handles that provide a sure grip, even with oven mitts
  • The superior heat distribution and retention of le creuset enameled cast iron
  • An advanced sand-colored interior enamel with even more resistance to wear
  • A larger composite knob that withstands temperatures up to 500ºF
  • Colorful, long-lasting exterior enamel that resists chipping and cracking

This Dutch Ovens give to us some advantages, like this :
1. The Magic Red Pot
I bought this because I had used a Le Creuset dutch oven long ago, in grad school. Several of our professors in the department were very good cooks and they all swore by a particular French pot that was the best thing for stews, braised meats, soups --anything, in short, you wanted to cook in a dutch oven.

We've had ours for quite some time. I leave it on the stove because it's heavy and because I probably use it once a week to cook a dinner to serve for the weekend and then pack up for busy weeknights.

It is true that the enamel is practically non-stick. If you do not let the pot get over heated, which it does NOT like, and which will damage the enamel, it will stay "non-stick" for a long time. If you do not scratch the enamel with harsh scrubbing pads or with metal implements, it will stay in good order.

The pot is HEAVY. Now, this is a consideration if you have arthritis. It sounds trivial until you develop joint problems (my thumbs and one wrist...

2. Great pot; lousy customer service
Bits of the inside finish chipped off after I had used it approximately 4 times to make onion soup. I sent it to Le Creuset to be replaced under the terms of their warranty which said that the warranty would be voided if the pot had been burned. I was completely confident that the pot had not been burned. There were no scorch marks, burn marks or any other indications that the pot had been burned. The missing chips were scattered at random on the bottom of the pot. (In other words, they did not show a distinctive circular pattern which may have resulted from the circular heating element.)

Much to my astonishment, they refused to replace it because they claimed that the pot had been burned. It hadn't been burned. They refused to return the pot to me so I had no way of disputing their claim.

However, they did offer to send me another pot for a fairly large amount of money.

If I could only cook with ONE item
...it would, hands down, be this enameled cast-iron french oven. I found a Le Creuset 5 1/2 quart oven at a discounted price last year when the colors were being changed from solid to the ombre-like coloring they currently have.

Needless to say, I love it.

It browns, sears, develops fond, deglazes, fries, bakes, sautes; it does everything. In it, I have made soup, stew, red sauces, enchilada sauces, macaroni and cheese, as well as any dish that requires sauteing onions first. I have seared and cooked all kinds of meat, fried donuts, onion rings and french fries. I love using it. It does Everything it is supposed to do Perfectly. It cleans up terribly easily; you'd think it would be super hard considering the things I've made it in, but you'd be wrong. It is heavy and durable and will last forever. I love it and would never give it up.

It is, without a doubt, the single best thing I have ever bought to use in my kitchen, for cooking or otherwise.

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Cuisinart 77-11G Chef's Classic Stainless 11-Piece Cookware Set
Let me preface this review with the fact that I am Italian and raised 5 children on daily home-cooked meals. The kitchen is the center of my home. So when my daughter got her own apartment out west and asked for a set of pots for Christmas, I wanted to make sure I got her a quality set that would last her for years and years. I knew what I wanted for her, but didn't know which brand to purchase. and I wanted the pot handles to be riveted into the pot. Off I went to the mall with my "specifications" in hand to look at the different brands and sets available. Boy was I amazed at how many there were! I took my time and examined each set. Not only did I look at the sets, but I also handled the sets. This is VERY important.

Then I came upon the Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless 10-piece cookware set. I was very impressed by the quality. They were heavy grade yet easy to handle. They also met my other specifications listed above AND they looked really nice as well. The price of...

2. MY MEALS NEVER TASTED SO GREAT!
Right after i moved to my new apt. I searched for the perfect set of pots that will be ready to cook up breafast ,lunch and dinner....

i first considered the 77-10 but good thing i noticed that it did not come with a strainer...

i was so delighted when i found the 77-11g which is basicly the same set of sizes as the 77-10 with the addition of the strainer ,and let me tell you this strainer really works! especially with noodels!

i must say i was a little hesitant when i saw the negetive review that "iloveamazon" wrote ,so i contacted Cusinart directly and they assured me that it was made just as all there other products, top quality! but i was still not satisfied so i checked all other reviews that "iloveamazon" left on different items and found that he complains on other items falling apart, etc... so i made my decision to buy the 77-11G!

AND LET ME TELL YOU IT WAS A GREAT DECISION! I REALLY LOVE IT ! ITS EASY TO CLEAN! AND SO PERFECTLY...

Gift Warehouse 35603 Hanging Iron Pot Rack

Cheapest Gift Warehouse 35603 Hanging Iron Pot Rack
==================================================================

An intricate swirl design makes this wrought iron hanging pot holder with 8 large hooks and 4 small hooks a useful work of art for the kitchen. 31 5/16" x 15 7/8" x 11 13/16" high.
  • 31 5/16" x 15 7/8" x 11 7/8" high

This Pot Racks give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Nicer Than I Even Expected
This rack is truly a bargain. Most pot racks I was looking at cost about $100-$200, so I wasn't expecting the greatest of quality with this one. However, I was quite surprised at how study and well made this one was. It's also fairly light, so you can install it by yourself and you won't have to worry about the bolts getting ripped out of the ceiling joints. The only 'complaint' I would have is that it does not come with ceiling bolts or any type of mounting instructions. Neither is a big deal since you can Google tips and tricks on mounting (which I would recommend since some sites pointed out things I wouldn't have thought about) and you can buy the bolts at the hardware store. It would have been nice to know that the bolts weren't included just so I could have picked them up before the package arrived. All in all, it's a perfect size for my kitchen and looks great. I would definitely recommend this pot rack to anyone who is looking for something nice without spending a...

2. A good pot rack for a great price
There isn't much to say here. If you want a good hanging pot rack without breaking the bank, this one comes recommended from me. I just installed our rack after having received it yesterday. We hung my wife's new 12-piece Calphalon Hard Anodized set from this rather attractive rack and all is good. The rack is very easy to assemble - the two hoops swing up from laying flat in the shelf and the top decorative piece screws to the hoops using wing nuts. The finish is a rustic look - not completely black (see my photos). The hooks slip on over the outer hoop and are not as wide as they look in the "stock" photo. The center section is made of flat iron bar and is meant as a shelf for lids and such. For what I paid and what I saw some other racks going for, I am very pleased with this purchase. The way it's built, I also see it holding up nicely for quite some time.

Great Value
The saying that "You get what you pay for" is almost always true, this pot rack is a delightful exception. The rack is well made, easy to assemble and quite attractive. A great value for the money.

A big thank you to all those who have taken time to submit reviews on this product. I would not have taken a chance on it without your recommendations.

Lodge Logic L17SK3 Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet, 17-inch

Bargain Lodge Logic L17SK3 Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet, 17-inch
==================================================================

Lodge Logic Skillets With Assist Handles The Iron Horse The Lodge 17-inch skillet is a masterfully crafted piece of cast iron designed to produce large meals, or to sear several steaks at one time. It's always ready for a weekend of camping. This pre-seasoned Skillet works like a charm right out of the box. Made of cast iron, this Skillet evenly distributes heat from the bottom through the sidewalls. Also, it retains heat better so your delicious meal remains warm for a long time. Sporting ...
  • Loop side handles for easy storage, handling
  • Great for large gatherings
  • Seasoned ready to use

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Huge pan. Well built.
With proper care this pan will last more than a lifetime. Most of the Cast Iron pans made in the late 1800's are still floating around. This pan can last that long too. While this pan is hugh and can cook lots and lots of food. It is better suited for outdoor cooking on a Campfire or a Turkey fryer base than useing in a kitchen. It is pretty big for a stove as you can have two burners heating it at once. I am glad I bought this pan. I also bought a smaller skillet for use on my home stove.

But for campfire cooking this is one of the most versitle pieces out there, you can fry in it, use it a a griddle and make monster pancakes. You can even whip up a big batch of Chili. If you like camping or even backyard cooking this is a must have. I like to use mine with a Turkey deepfryer base as the heating element it works great.

2. calling all Lodge lovers
It's big, it's black, it's cast iron! I had the 15in skillet in my wish list for a long time when this one showed up in my gold box. I didn't even mind paying the higher price for a pre-seasoned piece which is a bonus for a skillet of this size. The two smaller handles on this one make it even easier to get in and out of the oven, not to mention giving it a better fit. It works just find on the stove top but will over hang the side a bit. A damp towell on the counter will help if your counter is not high heat proof. If you cook big meals for big crowds you're probably already in love with cast iron. Put this one on your list. And thank you Amazon; not many companies will wave shipping on somthing as heavy as cast iron.

Fantastico for pizza!
I bought this specifically for making my homemade pizza. I've found that baking pizza in a cast iron skillet that was generously coated with shortening yielded wonderful results, whether one preferred thick (my choice), or thin crust (my wife's choice). It turns out a pastry-like crust that my extended family raves over. (Be sure to use a generous amount of olive oil in the dough..4 tablespoons per two cups of flour..)Baking it at 500+ degrees is also part of the secret. This big boy lets me make a hearty pizza main course for four to five hungry adults. The cast iron also retained heat for quite a while, once out of the oven, so that my pizza stayed warm until the last slice had been eaten. Clean-up was a breeze..just wipe the pan out with a paper towel and give it a spray of cooking oil.

Mirro 92122A Polished Aluminum Dishwasher Safe 22-Quart Pressure Cooker Canner Cookware, Silver

Deals for Mirro 92122A Polished Aluminum Dishwasher Safe 22-Quart Pressure Cooker Canner Cookware, Silver
==================================================================

Mirro 92122A 22-Quart Polished Aluminum Pressure Cooker / Canner Cookware, Silver
  • 22-quart pressure cooker/canner constructed from rustproof heavy-gauge aluminum; holds 16 pint jars or 5 quart jars
  • Maintains steady pressure with 3 cooking-pressure options--5, 10, and 15 PSI
  • Reusable overpressure plug, sure-locking lid system, and side gasket pressure release
  • Cooking/canning rack and user guide with recipes included
  • Ships in Certified Frustration-Free Packaging

This Pressure Cookers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. this is the canner you should get!
I know about canners. I can A LOT, and run two canners at one time. It is really getting hard to find a canner like this with a "jiggler" on top rather than a pressure gauge. I cannot stress enough that a weight system like this is just SO MUCH BETTER than a gauge if you are doing any volume of canning. If you are canning meats, you need to monitor your canner for 90 minutes, and if you have to babysit a gauge, you will get sick of it really fast. With a jiggler like this canner has, you can just listen, and know the pressure is correct. As long as the weight on top is just gently jiggling, everything is a.o.k. and you can read, or go the the restroom, or whatever you need to do. Plus, as years go by, I find it really hard to trust a gauge. You know the weight on this one will stay constant. I have one of this model of canner, and I'm buying another one today, to replace a perfectly good machine with a gauge.

2. Glad to find this one ...
After reviewing many options, I decided on this model because it has the weighted pressure control rather than the pressure gauge, which seemed to have a higher incidence of issues and failures.

The 22 Qt. comes with complete canning instructions, but the recipes are for "pressure cooking" rather than being "canning recipes. There are a number of great books out there for good recipes, including the one I use for all my canning Ball Blue Book of Preserving

I am impressed by both the "small footprint" of the base of this cooker as well as the numerous safety systems in place to prevent problems, an issue which several elderly friends who used some of the older pressure cookers assured me was VERY important - some carrying scars to prove it.

In addition to the vent tube, the safety systems include safety locks, an overpressure plug, an over pressure window (which blows the gasket and...

Easy to use when you have all of the information!
OK. I read several other reviews AFTER reading the instruction manual but BEFORE using the canner. I thought, "Come on people! How hard can it be?" Then I used the canner and momentarily feared for my life!

The directions clearly state that you should put your canning jars in, seal the lid, put your burner on high to heat the cooker WITHOUT the weight, and wait for steam to come out the pressure vent tube. Once steam comes out of the vent tube, you should set a timer for 10 minutes to allow the cooker to come up to pressure before applying the weight. Once the the weight has been added, you should reduce heat until the weight jiggles. Easy, right? Keep in mind that the directions are also very clear that if you see the red reusable overpressure plug pop or steam come out of the safety window, you should protect your face, turn off the heat, and allow the cooker to cool.

So, imagine my surprise when while bringing the cooker up to pressure, steam started to spill...

Calphalon Contemporary Stainless Roaster with V Rack

Cheapest Calphalon Contemporary Stainless Roaster with V Rack

  • Tri-Ply Performance. Full aluminum core for superb conductivity and even heating.
  • Dishwasher Safe. Fast, easy clean-up.
  • Stay-Cool Handles. Comfortable through hours of stovetop cooking.
  • Beautiful, Brushed Stainless Exterior.

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Pan is Great, But the Rack Leaves Something to be Desired
I purchased this pan to tackle a prime rib roast for Christmas dinner. The pan itself is very heavy, solid and distrubutes the heat well. One thing I do not like about other roasting pans that I have purchased is sometimes the pan juices seem to burn in the oven which results in no "pan goodness" to make gravy with. I have used this pan multiple times and never had that issue- the bits and pieces will brown, but do not get a burned flavor. I attribute this to the construction of the pan and the heaviness of the weight. I would give the pan a solid 5 stars, but the rack that comes with this pan immediately started peeling and rusting even though I ran it in the dishwasher and promptly removed it. So what is a girl to do?

I bought the William Bounds silicon roasting rack (from Amazon) and now use this with my pan. I could have purchased a replacement rack for $19 or paid shipping and handling to get a replacement rack through the warranty, but I have been very impressed...

2. Outstanding Value
I researched many roaster pans before I settled on this and am I glad I did. It offers a truly stovetop worthy construction, no bending or warping, a great v rack, and superb heat distribution. The handles are comfortable and the pan fits perfectly in the oven. Compared to the AllClad, it is less expensive and better performance. A well thought out pan.

Great roasting pan
This pan is just the right size and weight for large roasts and turkeys. The clean up was easy and although it is dishwasher safe, per the use and care guide, I didn't find it necessary. I cook rib roasts using very high heat for 15 - 20 minutes depending on the number of ribs and then turn off the heat and let it set in the oven for a couple hours. The key to this working is even heat distribution and even loss of heat as the oven cools. It worked like a dream, no surprises. I have other Calphalon pots and pans and have been a fan for years - this is no exception - excellent!

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Nothing better for the price !!!
I hesitated before I purchased this set because some of the reviews were not favorable. Some of the reviews were a total 5, so I wondered how there could be such a huge gap between the purchaser's reviews. A little homework answered the question.

This is a beautiful set, and if handled ACCORDING TO THE DIRECTIONS, should stay in beautiful shape. One of the reviewers stated that her cookware turned blue after being put into the dishwasher. The directions distinctly state that this is a normal condition for stainless steel and can be remedied by wiping lemon juice or vinegar over the pot/pan. It works; just as stated.

Another reviewer stated that her pan warped. This happens when the heat is too high. Instructions fully state that one should not use this cookware on HIGH. It does not take much heat to allow the food to cook. There is an aluminum disk inserted in the bottom to conduct the heat. Aluminum DOES warp and melt under extremely high...

2. good induction set
I like this set. It is very good quality for the price. I bought it because it is induction usable--it does not say that in the ad, but I had seen this in a store and bought a single pan to test.
The lids are very nice fitting, with a hole in them. I wish the lids fit the pans too, but they do not.
This is not super thick steel for many reasons. Reasons include heavy weight, a pan that will not cool down (especially critical for induction), handles stay cool if thinner, and cost. I do not find any of the items flimsy at all. It is somewhat thin feeling but very amply sturdy. It does not bend on me at all--even trying. I did not try a hammer on it, but do not find a reason to.
I think this is a good deal for what you get.

TFAL stainless steel cookware
I purchased the TFAL ss cookware set, received it extremely quickly from the vendor & in good order. It's easy to clean, easy to use, cooks evenly, and the best part is: I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE RESIDUE FROM THE NONSTICK COOKWARE, which has been linked to Alzheimer's disease in the post-mortem brains of afflicted persons. We love this cookware & will purchase more of it in the future!

Rachael Ray Porcelain Enamel II Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set, Orange GradientThis Rachael Ray Porcelain Enamel II cookware set is perfect when its time to whip up tasty meals for family and friends. This set has all of the necessary cookware shapes and sizes needed to make great-tasting dishes from lamb burgers with garlic-yogurt sauce to blueberry French toast to a three-bean minestrone soup. • Stylish two-tone gradient exterior, this cookware heats quickly and evenly, reducing -hot spots that can burn foods
  • Long-lasting nonstick interior allows food to slide off and makes cleanup quick and easy
  • The rubberized dual-riveted handles are comfortable and oven safe to 350 degrees.
  • Lifetime limited warranty
  • Tempered glass lids - watch your foods cook without having to remove the lid to keep moisture locked in, lifetime limited warranty

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Good Value for the Money
They cook evenly. Pretty sturdily made with with rivets and they are lightweight without being flimsy. Easy to clean. Bottom of pans did not distort when heated. The padded handles for the lids and the pots are a sort of rubber or silicone which make for easy gripping and are cool to the touch (especially for the lids unlike metal handles). The colors are fun. The color is a an orange gradient that mutes the brightness of the orange color.

Why not a five star rating? I would like to see the layer of non-stick material to be thicker for more durability, but note that the pots and pans do come with a lifetime guarantee.

Good value for the money.

Also, note that these pots are not recommended for glass top stoves (per manual) as the ceramic bottom of the cookware could melt to the glass top.

2. Love them!
I have had this set for almost a year. We use them every day. They look beautiful hanging in my kitchen and they just make cooking a little more fun. They have held up perfectly. I have a glass top stove so I was a little concerned when I read in the manual that they arent ideal for that type of stove, but I have never had an issue.

They are light in weight, but not in durability. They clean up easily and beautifully. I have used an SOS pad on the outside and it doesnt scratch. I have also found them in the dishwasher when my children have to clean the kitchen and they have remained scratch free. They actually look almost as good as the day I bought them! I am now ordering sets for my friends for Christmas!

Good selection, attractive set, but a bit expensive and lightweight
An attractive cookware set that covers the basics. The well-made pans offer a good cooking foundation, but are a little too lightweight.

I've been cooking elaborately for years and have used a wide variety of kitchen gear. Like most seasoned cooks, I have my favorite pans and pan-types, and habits in how I use them. I was pleased to see several of my "usual" sizes included in this set, including the 3qt saute pan, the 6qt dutch-oven style stockpot, and the 10" skillet. The 2qt saucepan is adequate, though I usually prefer a 2.5qt. The sides of the saute pan are high enough to stir a thick pasta sauce, the stockpot has a wide enough base to allow meat to brown.

The one omission is a heavy-bottomed 12" skillet, something I use regularly for frying and searing.

Less useful is the 1qt saucepan-- there's not much I'd make in a 1qt that wouldn't be fine in the 2qt, and the 8.5" skillet is too small to be useful-- it's fine if you want to fry an egg, or...

Cuisinart MCP117-16BR MultiClad Pro Stainless 16-Inch Rectangular Roaster with Rack

Deals for Cuisinart MCP117-16BR MultiClad Pro Stainless 16-Inch Rectangular Roaster with Rack
==================================================================

An essential piece of cookware for family dinners, parties, and holiday celebrations, the Cuisinart Roasting Pans are designed to hold turkeys, chickens, and large roasts. Riveted stainless steel handles make placing the Roasters into the oven, and lifting it out, safe and hassle-free. Solid stainless steel racks allow heat to circulate and let meat or poultry drain as it cooks. The roaster is dishwasher safe and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
  • Stainless Triple Ply Construction
  • Heat Surround Technology
  • Solid Stainless Steel Rack
  • Induction Ready
  • Dishwasher Safe

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. The Best Roaster Overall
Actually, this is one of the best roasting pans I've come across at any price. It's 3-ply aluminum core construction. The edge is slightly beveled so it looks thinner than it is, but after taking a micrometer to it, it is actually only about 15% thinner than some of the $200+ models - still quite heavy duty. It has a nice dead flat bottom, doesn't warp, is induction friendly, has great handles and a nice rack. Perfect size, just wide enough for a 20 lbs turkey. It also takes 500 degree heat very well. Plus, it's really beautiful! I compared about 10 roasters and I would have bought this one even if it was $200. Do not confuse this pan with Cuisinart's non Multiclad model. This is a hard to find item that is a great deal.

2. Why pay more?
My wife was dropping serious hints about an AllClad roasting pan. The AllClad is painfully expensive, so I turned up this Cuisinart in my research, and compared it with the Calphalon that was top-rated by a respectable cooking magazine. This unit has the tri-ply construction, like the AllClad, and the handles don't sit over the interior of the pan, which could be problematic as you are lifing a roast out of the oven. The bottom line is my wife is very happy with the pan, and it was reasonably priced.

Great pan, but rack is stainless not non-stick
The quality of the roasting pan is excellent for the cost. Doesn't warp, works on the stove top without problem, and, well you can cook a turkey in it. What more do you want? Well, perhaps you want a non-stick rack and if you do, this might not be the roasting pan to buy. The included rack is stainless steel, not non-stick. This means you need to spend 5 seconds with a can non-stick spray before using, but it also means the finish is never going to wear off. Not a big deal to me. And yes, I did receive the right model. I checked the model number on Cuisinart's website where it shows it having a stainless steel rack as well. So if a non-stick rack is very important to you, you may want to consider other options, but if you just want a great roasting pan at a fair price then you're in the right place.

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. A great cook set for a small kitchen
I have always liked the Farberware cookware for over 30 years. The steel pots are perfect. I am not crazy about the non-stick ones, wish they had covers too, and a bit heavier. Besides, I don't care for non-stick surface as much because it could leave toxins after a scratch. I like the glass lids, they are easier to clean. The size of most pots in this set is fairly small which you may not realize from the size provided in quarts, but appropriate for a small household's kitchen. Overall, it's a pretty good quality set for the price compared to all those other brands with highly inflated prices.

2. A Farberware Surprise
I have owned my Farberware for 12 years and love it.It was made in the USA. So when I wanted to get cookware for my daughter, Farberware was my 1st choice.I ordered a "10 piece classic set" from Amazon(They sent it through another shipper but it came on time and was well packed)
When the set came my daughter cooked oatmeal in the small sauce pan for 3 mornings and noticed the finish on the bottom of the pan was chipping off I called the plant and they said that they would replace it. Before I could send it back we used one of the larger pans and noticed it had a small chip in the bottom and was discolored on the sides and bottom. I looked for the warranty which said it was "limited lifetime" but didn't cover discoloring and a lot of other things. This was STAINLESS STEEL. It didn't say what was meant by "lifetime" so I guess it was the lifetime of the pan, which was 3 days in this case.I then checked to see where it was made and it was Thailand. I called the plant again and they...

almost perfect
I love the farberware cookware. the pots are perfect. some lightweight pots my wife purchased actually warped and thus rattled on the stovetop. since i am the cook, it drove me crazy. i threw them out in less than a month. the only "problem" and the reason for 4 not 5 stars is the non-stick pans. I hate the non stick surface because they scratch and can leave toxins in the food . cant convince my wife that you must use wooden utensils, so i just threw them out

Camp Chef Grand Canyon National Park 12-Quart Dutch Oven

Cheap Camp Chef Grand Canyon National Park 12-Quart Dutch Oven
==================================================================

Grand Canyon National Park Cast Iron Dutch Oven by Camp Chef is created to meet the highest quality standards. The seasoned finish makes this cast iron ready to use and easy to maintain. The fine porous surface also allows for better heat distribution and retention.
  • Seasoned Cast Iron is ready to cook and easy to maintain
  • Deep Dish Lid increases air flow for even cooking;doubles as a skillet or serving trivet
  • Thermometer Channel to check temperature without removing lid
  • Free lift tool for easier handling of hot Cast Iron,Grand Canyon National Park Commemerative Edition
  • Actual maximum capacity is 11.87 Quarts.

This Dutch Ovens give to us some advantages, like this :
1. An American Classic Cook Pot
I received my Camp Chef 12-qt Dutch oven last evening at dusk...Fed Ex was running a little late! I was only a little disappointed that I didn't get the Lewis & Clark commemorative version I ordered, but am just as happy with the Grand Canyon picture cast in the lid. This pot is exactly what I've been wanting for my ultimate survival tool. If the electricity goes out, the propane runs out, and I'm forced to 'BUG OUT', then this little oven will be my 'kitchen' in the wilderness. I allows me to cook all the meat and vegetables, stews, stovetop-type griddle breakfast, and most of all, fresh bread, over an open wood fire. Wood is something I have plenty of at my little retreat in east King County, WA. The main reason I bought this oven is that I could not figure out any good way to cook bread of any kind in the wilderness without getting a large wood-burning oven or buying one of these little fold-up camp ovens that I wasn't too thrilled with. I'm good at whipping up Bisquick biscuits,...

2. The best $40 will ever get you.
It's a deal and it's as good as any other cast iron dutch oven I've used. Bake some good bacon fat into it to amend the factory seasoning and you've got yourself a winner. The lid has legs on it too which helps when you want to use it as a skillet. I got 2 friends to buy it and another sale through one of those friends, it's contagious, especially when you compare the value to other ovens.

Great dutch oven
This is my first dutch oven. My internet research found that a lot of people seem to have either Lodge or Camp Chef cast-iron on all the camping forums. I picked this one because I like the lid that doubles as a griddle and also because the price was better than Lodge. I do like that Lodge is made in the U.S., but I wish they were more competitively priced. A 12 quart lodge dutch oven was double the cost of this one. And as I said, I like the legs on the Camp Chef lid.

I was afraid that 12 quarts might be too big, but the lid actually accounts for about 3 of those quarts, so the pot is only about 9 quarts which is a perfect size for me. It was pre-seasoned and the first thing I made was a cobbler. Clean up was easy. After cleaning I heated it on my grill to dry it and then rubbed some more oil all over it. A few days later I wanted to test how well the lid worked as a griddle. The legs on the lid let me sit it right on the coals and I made some bacon and eggs. I cooked the...

Farberware Millennium Stainless Steel Tulip Series 10-Piece Cookware Set

Cheapest Farberware Millennium Stainless Steel Tulip Series 10-Piece Cookware Set
==================================================================

Farberware Millennium Stainless Steel Tulip Series 10-Piece Cookware SetSleek, durable and dependable, the Millennium Stainless Steel Tulip Series 10-piece Cookware Set from Farberware delivers unbeatable performance and brings elegance to every stovetop. The versatile covered saucepans are ideal not only for whisking turkey gravy or Alfredo sauce, they also work well for cooking oatmeal or poaching eggs. • The stainless steel bases fully encapsulate a thick aluminum core to provide exceptional heat distribution; Suitable for use on all stovetops including glass and induction
  • Glass lids let you monitor cooking progress without releasing moisture or nutrients
  • Stainless steel handles are securely riveted to the pan for added durability

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. SHINE ON, SHINE ON !
After much research on stainless cookware, I finally settled on the Farberware. The pricing on the Millennium set
was well under what I was willing to spend, so I also looked at the higher priced sets. It turns out that those higher priced pots & pans didn't have any apparent advantages over the Farberware at all. In fact, the Farberware looked to be of better quality than some sets costing 30-80 dollars more.

These pots & pans are of good weight, they are stout, but not overly heavy and the highly polished outside surfaces are beautiful. The insides of the pots & pans are of a satin finish, with the degree of finish slightly varying from pan to pan. I was concerned that the pans with the coarser finishes may be prone to having food stick on the bottom, but it was worry for nothing, the pots and pans were problem free. The heavy glass lids are nice, but the lid handles get very hot, very quickly. The handles of the pots & pans themselves also get hot, so I'd recommend...

2. Farberware have you been?
This set is not only functional and durable, but gorgeous as well. I debated over the T-Fal version but it has hollow handles. These have solid handles. The stem handles on five of the pieces DO NOT get hot. The grips on the lids and the 8-qt pot do get a little warm. I was amazed that this set actually is advertised to work on induction cooktops. All pieces do work wonderfully on induction cookers, while the Cuisinart set I ordered did not, and was sent back. I love how evenly the set cooks and how well made it is. I have no doubt this set will get passed along to my children when I go to the big kitchen in the sky. Their children will probably be receiving it too, in due time.

Happy to have
I've used a variety of cookware including some all copper for sugars & hot syrups.
These pans did exceptionally well for a stainless set in having even heat distribution.(Something you rarely see in stainless).
Love the easy cleanup and if we avoid all metal utensils we shouldn't experience any sticking problems in the future.
So far I can't see a negative to this set other than the lids have no vents. Just a preference issue. Great weight great rivet construction. These will be passed on I'm sure.

This Pressure Cookers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Great Pressure Cooker
I love the ELITE EPC-808 8 QT Pressure Cooker by Maxi-matic. Everything I have tried in the past three weeks has been great. I am still learning what works the best for my family's taste. I really appreciate the 8 Qt pot! I've been able to feed us three, plus guests and/or have fantastic leftovers. I was able to can three qts of green beans from the garden. I didn't need to drag out the large old jiggle-top for just three quarts.
I purchased Laura Sass PRESSURE PERFECT and Bob Warden's SLOW FOOD FAST. Between them and the manual I have been able to make some delicious meals. I borrowed Miss Vickie's book, PRESSURE COOKER RECIPES from the library- glad I didn't purchase it, not as useful for me, but appreciated the introduction pages.
I really like the delay, and stay warm feature along with the ability to manually set times.
I purchased mine through Best Buy on-line for $99, but needed to pick it up at the store.

2. I love this pressure cooker
I got this from HSN. The black version. I love this cooker

I have made lots of different meals in a very short time and I don't have to worry if something is frozen, I can still cook it faster in here than defrosting and worrying about the microwave cooking it.

Its HUGE. I think that's the primary reason I went for this one. We always have plenty of leftovers and although it has all those presets, I just cook it based on the time I want it in there. I am not sure where the reviewer missed that you can have it cook for a specific amount of time, but its possible and even better in my opinion.

Bigger Isn't better
My neighbor across the street, just received this pressure cooker purchasing it through HSN. HSN offered three colors of the cooker (black, red or blue) and she chose the blue one. I have a beef stew pressure cooker recipe that has been in my family over 60 years, so I went over there to test this machine out. I had another Elite model, but returned it because of defects.

This cooker is big, and will take up a lot of counter space. Looking over the instruction manual, I was dissapointed to see that it was a 12 psi cooker. For proper cooking it should be a 15 psi, anything less will require adjustments to your cooking time. This machine is loaded with pre-sets, and you are at the mercy of them, but luckily you can adjust the time needed to cook. Using the pre-set my beef stew recipe turned out alright, but, the bottom ingredients were badly scorched and stuck on the container. Pre-sets I hate. However my neighbor has used it many times since and enjoys it very...

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Great pans
I cook a lot and I don't like to wash dishes.

To me, a great pan conducts heat evenly, can go through the dishwasher and comes out looking like new - forever.

I use gas and the heat conductivity is such that I have to be careful, so watch your stuff, it will burn if you use the settings you used on your old pans.

I bought the 8, 10 and 12 inch size., Made crepes in the 8 inch pan yesterday, latkes in the 12 inch pan the other day and I brown thick rib eye steaks on top of the stove and finish them in the oven at 425 for a few minutes. They work like a charm.

2. great pans but no longer nonstick
After about 8 months of use per instructions, the skillet has lost all nonstick qualities. It was very slick for the first several months but now we use it like an uncoated triply and as such, is one of the best. Quality construction, very even heat and perfectly flat, now it just sticks like crazy without lots of oil. It has never been in a dishwasher, overheated or seen a metal utensil. No visible scratches. Any ideas on restoring nonstick?

Awesome

This Chafing Dishes give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Works like we thought it would
We enjoy entertaining at our home, and bought this small appliance right before an annual party we host (40-60 people). It heats up quickly, kept our food warm as it should have, and is easy to store. Interesting thing: when taken out of the box (cold), the appliance didn't sit flush on the table, as if warped, but upon warming up, it was straight on the table.

We had one slight issue with a loose screw in the back of the unit. It didn't seem to be a crucial part of the assembly, but I did call an authorized Waring dealer in the area and they are replacing the whole unit.

2. worked as advertised
I used this product on Thanksgiving for a family buffet. It kept the items warm, and did not burn or dry out the turkey. It heats up quickly and cooled down quickly for easy moving.

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :

2. Wish a few things were different
Upon initial inspection, all of the pots, pans, and lids/ covers were all neatly packed in cardboard and heavy plastic bags with the product's information and care instructions within one of the pots. All seemed to be well made and attractive looking with contrasting orange, rubber handles. I was glad to see that the handles were bolted on, as my old pots and pans have handles held onto the cookware with screws, which occasionally need to be tightened, an annoyance. This set lacked a large 12 or 14 inch skillet similar to the small 8 inch and medium 10 inch ones. The large 4.5 quart sauté pan was deep and wouldn't be ideal, for say, pancakes. The 8 and 10 inch skillets are too small for cooking a meal for my family. The second to largest pot appeared to have two minor imperfections in the non-stick surface finish inside, and at the bottom of the pot. 1. Great price for such a good set
I bought the 10 piece Cuisinart set about a month ago and ever since I've been expecting it to fall to pieces, burst, turn to dust, explode, vanish in thin air, etc. etc... anything that would give me a reason for the low price of 140$ which is 400$ in stores. The truth is, it's too good to be true. But it is! This is the best cookware set I have ever seen by far. Nothing will ever be able to stick to these lovely pots and pans, no matter what you do, so be ready to say goodbye to all the non-stick sprays, oil, butter and soaking and scratching. They don't even need harsh soaps for a moderate cleaning up. It is true that they can burn food, but the instructions say that these are not meant to be used at high stove-top heats anyway, use a low to mid heat and everything will turn up wonderful. They are really good for slow cooking and can also go in the oven up to 500 degrees, which is required for some food I like to make. The glass lids are useful when making rice or seeing the color...

2. Good for the Money........But
I have had the similar 7 piece set for about a month and have had a chance to use them enough to have an opinion. They are well balanced and perform well, especially the sauce pans and stock pot. The 8 quart stock pot is large enough for a family of 4-6. Cuisinart advertises you can use metal utensils, but when you read their recommended use card, it says metal utensil will scratch the surface. That is a misleading marketing gimmick in my opinion.

My main complaint with the Cuisinart cookware is they heat up very quickly due to the thin 3 mm thickness. The fry pans are the weakest items of the set. After side-by-side comparisons against Emeril's All-Clad Hard Anodized, I much prefer the Emeril brand. The Emeril pans are 5 mm thick and seem to cook more evenly and are not near as temper-mental as the Cuisinarts. They also have a feel of quality, unlike the Cuisinart pans.

For not much more money, I would look at the higher quality Emeril Hard Anodized 10 piece set...

Great value, good pans, not so great nonstick....
After 9 months of owning this set and cooking with most of them almost every day, I can give an honest opinion of how they worked out for me.

Pros:

Excellent heat conduction. Stays hot, cooks evenly, and transfer from oven to stovetop and back is very convenient. Good, tough pots and pans at a great value. I like the large skillet and pots, especially.

Cons:

The nonstick coating is not really there anymore for the two frying pans. Though these have never been in the dishwasher or been scrubbed with anything heavier than a sponge, the nonstick coating has slowly burned off in patches, and now, though it hasn't peeled or flaked, there are spots where the food will stick and nonstick spray or oil must be used. Unless I use some kind of spray, pancakes, for instance, must be made in the large 2-handled skillet.

This is a pity because I was very careful not to overheat the pans--they have really been babied. I will probably buy...

Bayou Classic 1118 32-Quart Stainless Steel Turkey Fryer

Deals for Bayou Classic 1118 32-Quart Stainless Steel Turkey Fryer
==================================================================

Bayou Classic Stainless Steel Cookware is the premium choice for those who demand the highest quality products for their outdoor cooking needs. The Stainless Steel 32-Quart Stockpot allows you to fry a turkey in as little as 45 minutes. With the included Skewer Set, the stockpot transforms into a Gourmet Chicken Fryer, making it possible to fry 3 chickens in 20 minutes. The indentation in the pot raises the basket 1.75 in. above the bottom for steaming or boiling seafood, crawfish, clams, and...
  • 32-quart fryer for turkey, chicken, and more
  • Steams, boils and fries seafood, poultry, vegetables, tamales
  • Polished stainless steel for optimal durability and easy cleaning
  • Strongest perforated basket on the market for even steaming
  • Heavy duty handles for easy transport; vented lid

This Stockpots give to us some advantages, like this :
1. My only regret is not getting this one first
If you're thinking of buying aluminum because it's cheaper, think again. This stainless steel pot will last longer, be MUCH easier to clean and will not retain seafood odor, nor will aluminum leach into your food.

The included basket fits like a glove (unlike my King Kooker aluminum pot, which sold the basket separately), and can also function as a steamer. The rack fits right into the basket for easy storage. I only regret that I bought the other pot first because it was cheaper, but certainly not a better value!

2. Perfect for turkey, prime rib, or sea food!
This stainless steel cookpot is sturdy, well constructed, and easy to clean. It also comes with a boil basked and a turkey rack. The boil basked could not be better constructed. It fits right inside the cookpot and rests on an internal rim so the base is not sitting on the bottom of the fryer. This allows more even boiling, but you have to remember that you're going to lose the top few inches of space in the basked so be careful not to over fill. I purchased this item in concert with the Bayou Classic SP10 High-Pressure Outdoor Gas Cooker and it couldn't be a better match. Since this is a 32 quart cook pot it won't fit on most cookers that are specifically designed for 30qt pots, so a cooker with a flat burner area is essential.

We broke the cookpot in with a crab boil. Fill the pot with water to the max fill line. Add a couple of packages of Zatarain's Crab Boil, about 3 tablespoons of Old Bay Seasoning, and a couple of onions peeled and halved. Load your basked...

Good Quality; Low on Features for the Price
I bought the Stainless Steel fry pot because SS is a better conductor, stronger metal compared to Aluminum, and cleans better. But, there's a heckuva price premium. I found the pot to be very sturdy and great quality, but three things bothered me somewhat:

1) The thermometer clip that comes with that pot is poorly designed. Once the thermometer is inserted on the lip of the pot, it direct the thermometer at an angle towards the center of the pot. Sure, the temperature reading is more accurate at the center, but this makes it difficult to remove the bird without first pushing the thermometer tip to the side of the pot. You'd rather not try to remove the thermometer as the pot is hot and you could splash the oil.

2) At this price, I would expect some fry baskets, but none were included. Without these, you have to try to fish out small items that you are frying such as fries, mozzarella sticks, etc. It can get hazardous. Prefer not to use the steam basket...

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Well thought out and well executed design
This is the set you want. Why? Here are some reasons. Some are about Stainless steel cookware in general, but all apply specifically to this set.

o Stainless steel is sanitary. You can get them perfectly clean very easily. (Commercial food processors are often required to use stainless steel for nearly everything that comes in contact with food.)

o Stainless steel cleans up nearly as easily non-stick cookware. You do clean it differently, however.

o These pans have an aluminum core wrapped on both sides by stainless steel. Stainless steel does not transmit heat quickly but aluminum does. Aluminum is soft and dents easily, stainless steel is hard and strong. This means you get the toughness of stainless steel with the even heat distribution of aluminum.

o Even heat distribution and rapid heating allows you use lower heat setting thus saving energy and reducing the chance of burning food.

o Handles stay fairly cool,...

2. You can pay more, but you can't buy better!
For those of you considering upgrading your cookware to professional grade stainless steel, look no further.

I've owned this 12 piece set for over a year, and can't offer enough praise. It still looks brand new (use Barkeepers Friend to clean it). It heats evenly and quickly, retains heat for a long time, sears and browns well without burning, handles comfortably, cleans up easily and looks great! I'm fortunate enough to have several different types of cookware to compare. My cookware includes: All-Clad, JC Penny Elite (5 ply Copper Core), Chefmate tri-ply, Hard Anodized non-stick and Cuisinart Tri-Ply Copper.

In my opinion, the All-Clad Stainless Steel line is much overated. Its great cookware, but has no rolled edges for easy pouring without making a mess, and I prefer the handles on just about any other brand. All-Clad's materials and construction are the same as the other premium lines, with the exception of the rolled edges. Incidentally, staunch...

Ah, the joy of cooking...
...with the right pot.

When I was checking into buying more high-quality cookware a few years ago, I was totally sold on AllClad, but then a friend of mine whose job at the time was to test kitchen cookware (if you can believe that!) told me I should check out Cuisinart's MultiClad line instead. Turns out it's had the same features (and add-ons) as the AllClad I was so in love with (stainless steel wrapped around an aluminum core), but without the major price tag that comes with the "AllClad" name.

So I got the Cuisinart line and absolutely have loved it ever since - I've even been adding to my collection every year or so.

As far as comparing it to nonstick cookware...well, I still have some nonstick pieces, but I don't use them much - a little bit of Pam Cooking Spray, and I haven't had any trouble. It also comes with great cleaning instructions...in fact, mine still look almost new even though they're a few years old.

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Fabulous!
I love this set of cookware! First, it cooks evenly. The nonstick cleans up very nicely. What I like most about them is that they are very durable but they are not heavy at all, so easy on the wrist! I love the multiple sizes of the sauce pans, and the griddle pan has come in very handy. The utensils that came with the set are also very nice. Nothing special about them, but they are sturdy and clean up easily. VERY nice cookware set!

2. Great set to establish kitchen
As a guy who's wife took everything, I was reduced to boiling eggs in the kettle, or worse yet microwave. This set, even with the large postage to Australia, allowed me to get a good range of pots and pans at a great price.

This set is far better than the stuff she took.

It would have been good if the griddle was a bit bigger though.

Terrific All-Around Set
This is a great price for such a complete set-- it really does include everything you'd need to cook most meals, plus some utensils. It looks nicer in person than the picture, and the quality feels very good aside from the plastic feel to the handles.

The nonstick properties are average. I've cooked a variety of foods in the pans-- pancakes, eggs, burgers, etc.-- and have found that they don't release effortlessly, but they do release well with a little prodding.

My least favorite chore in the world is washing pots and pans, so I'm always looking for dishwasher-safe sets. This one is, but it'll wear away the nonstick properties faster, so handwashing is recommended. I found that they didn't come totally clean in the dishwasher, which again tells me that the nonstick properties are good but not outstanding.

Overall, though, it's a well-thought-out set, with handles that won't burn you, vented lids with high knob handles, and a fair price. I approve!

Bayou Classic 4042 42-Quart All-Purpose Aluminum Stockpot with Steam and Boil Basket

Buy Bayou Classic 4042 42-Quart All-Purpose Aluminum Stockpot with Steam and Boil Basket
==================================================================

This All-Purpose Stockpot is the perfect addition to any cooking environment indoors or outdoors! The Steam-Boil-Fry Stockpot has an indentation that raises the basket 1.75 inches above the bottom for steaming or boiling. Use the basket to deep fry chic
  • 42-quart stockpot with basket for steaming and broiling
  • Vented lid for even cooking; heavy duty riveted handles
  • Commercial-strength 99 percent, pure aluminum construction
  • Perforated basket mounts 2 inches from bottom of pot
  • Basket detaches for boiling pasta, soups, stews, gumbo

This All Products give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Big Daddy of Shrimp Boil Pots
I bought this pot for our tailgates. We usually do a shrimp boil at least once a year. We had a 30 qt pot that was almost overflowing, so I thought a new pot was in order. This thing is huge. We did our normal boil for 20 people and the pot was barely over half full. Plenty of room for our tailgate to grow.

Pot is heavy duty and will last a life time. Very well made. In retrospect, I probably should have bought the 40 Qt (as the wife regularly reminds me). Was the talk of the tailgate. Now just have to figure out where I'll store it ....

2. lobster for a crowd
We live in Maine and have many lobster bakes over the summer for visitors. My husband is the master steamer and often missed the fun as he had to cook in batches with our previous pot. We LOVE this Stockpot. We can cook lobsters for a crowd and everyone's are done at the same time. Cleanup is the same as any pot, though obviously it won't fit in the sink to be washed. We got our money's worth.

Excellent crawfish pot
I love this pot. I've had a great 40 qt. pot for a decade that I've used for crawfish boiling and turkey frying but wanted a larger pot with a basket dedicated to crawfish. I was wary of the product because some reviews suggested the pot was flimsy and I wanted a tough sturdy pot. I was not disappointed, the pot is very strong with a thick rolled aluminum opening and stout handles. When filled with water and lifted, there was absolutely no movement or flex. You would have to lie the pot on its side and jump on it to bend the walls of the pot. My only regret is that I didnt buy the 80 qt. model. With the basket in, it doesnt hold much more than my 40 qt. pot did without a basket. We cooked 70 lbs. of crawfish and lots of vegetables and it took three batches. So if you are on the fence on size, go bigger. I will likely buy an 80 qt. soon.

Calphalon Unison Nonstick 12" Omelette Pan & Cover

Bargain Calphalon Unison Nonstick 12" Omelette Pan & Cover

  • Cook with little or no oils, butter or fats.
  • 100% Dishwasher safe.
  • Handles stay comfortably cool on the stovetop.
  • Oven safe to 500ºF / 260ºC
  • Lifetime Warranty

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Fantastic design mirrored with great results
As a professional chef I run across all sorts of products that are supposed to be the next best thing since sliced bread. However, this pan just so happens to be the next best thing, and I picked it up at my local Le Gourmet Chef in Hagerstown, MD.

Simply put the ultra smooth non-stick surface is smoother than glass; thus cooking requires little if no oil and clean up is a breeze with a simple rinse and wipe. As long as you stay away from aerosol sprays you will have an enjoyable experience with this cookware or any cookware for that matter. If you must spray in your oil then I suggest you buy an oil mister because spraying from a can simply adds residue that ruins pans and takes away from the flavor of your food after buildup occurs. The best feature for all you home chefs is that this pan is 100% DISHWASHER SAFE! It's also oven safe to 500 degrees.

The clear glass cover rounds out the entire package deal and is equally easy to clean. It's nice to be able to...

2. Best nonstick ever
The difference between my old nonstick cookware (Culinary Essentials brand purchased at Costco over 10 years ago) and this Calphalon Unison cookware is like night and day. The food cooks evenly and absolutely does not stick. The pan is weighty without being too heavy and the handles stay cool. The glass lids are also nice. This Unison cookware is one of the few choices that is dishwasher safe and guaranteed for life, a selling point for me. So far, though, I've hand washed it. A few seconds is all it takes to come clean.

Scratched after one use
I don't know if I just received a bad item, or if the other reviewers treat their pans like crystal, but mine developed lots of scratches (some rather deep) after only one use. I followed all the instructions for what to do before the first use, and I only used plastic utensils. I was stunned - the cheap pans from Walmart didn't get scratches that fast. I had to return it.

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Cuisinart
This is a beautiful set of cookware and, I think, a great value...I paid $189.99 for 17 pieces, 15 of which are pots, pans & lids and 2 inserts..for pasta and for steaming. I like that there are 2 of the same size lid. You always get 1 lid that fits 2 items in the set and I would always use them at the same time and only be able to cover 1. No worries with this set--there is 1 lid for each. Also, I did a lot of price shopping before I picked this one and it's the only brand that calls it 17-piece and gives you all cookware. Every other set I saw that was over, say, 10 pieces-- the extra was knives or plastic utensils vs pots and pans. If it was 17 pieces, 7 to 9 of them were bowls, utensils, knives, etc. Rip offs for the prices they charged. And finally..the outside is nice and smooth, not ringed or otherwise textured...makes for nice cleanup and hopefully they'll stay nice looking longer than their predecessors. The ONLY thing I'm not thrilled with is that the lid handles do...

2. WERE GREAT AT FIRST - THEN TEFLON FLAKED OFF
I bought a set of Cuisinart teflon non-stick pans due to the fact that there was supposed to be a lifetime warranty. Well when the teflon coating started peeling, I contacted customer service 1-800-726-0190 and was assured that if I sent them back they would warranty the pans. I stressed that they were several years old and the girl said that was ok. I spent $30 to FedEx the pans (sent back all pans in the set) and was also required to enclose a check for $10 to cover return shipping.

After about a month, I had not heard anything, so I called and they had no record of receiving. I related the fedex confirmation and they said to give it another week to update my file. I called back in a week and the girl said that there was a note in the file saying "costomer abuse". I asked what that meant and she said she didn't know. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was referred to "Daniel". Daniel said that he would look into it and it was up to "corporate" and he had no input. He...

pitting in first year
My set is a year old and several pans already have severe pitting on the inside bottom. I never used metal utensils or put in the dishwasher. I called customer service and was told it was only a limited warranty and I had to pay to ship it to them and include $7 per pan for return shipping with no guarantee they would even replace them.

I definitely would not recommend these.

  • Oversized handles provide even weight distribution and a secure grip
  • Ergonomic composite knobs are heat resistant to 500°F
  • Built-in lid stabilizers provide a secure, no-slide fit

This Dutch Ovens give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Perfect
I've collected a few Le Creuset pans in various sizes and colors.
The 2 quart french oven that I've had for years is used the most and I wanted another pan that was larger but not as large as my soup pot.
This one filled the bill perfectly. It has a flat bottom making it easier to use for roasting or browning than my soup pot. The sides are high enough to use it for stews, soups, rice or frying and I really like the Linen color.
The handles on this pot are larger than my older french oven so it's easier to get a good grip.
All in all, it's a very versatile size and shape. I expect to depend on it for many years.

2. love it!!
After drooling over this new color for months..I found it at a great price on Amazon. It is my fourth Le Creuset..(have since sold the soup pot on ebay as it was to small for me). This pot is a perfect size for a nice dinner for two or three or maybe four..can do a small roast, chops or whatever. I LOVE the shape, flat bottom, straight sides..makes it much easier to cook over my old soup pot. easy to use and clean..makes anything you cook in it come out wonderful..a must for any good cook..if this size is to small you can step up a bit to the 4 1/2 quart..which i may have to add anyway...overall its a must buy and LOVE the color!!!

Camp Chef SG60 deluxe steel fry griddle

Cheapest Camp Chef SG60 deluxe steel fry griddle
==================================================================

The Camp Chef SG60 32 x 15 inch Deluxe Fry Griddle features high walls and grease drain. Fits over two burners. For use with all DB, DL, DH, OSD, EX and CC models.
  • Great for Delicate Cooking
  • Covers two burners
  • Great for pancakes and eggs
  • Grease tray captures and removes grease
  • High wall design for easy cooking

This Griddles give to us some advantages, like this :
1. A tough, durable griddle for Camp Chef stoves
This griddle is designed specifically for Camp Chef stoves, but can be used with most other stoves as well. It is heavy, but, as with most of Camp Chef's stuff, it is very, very durable. This griddle is perfect for the camper or excursionist who doesn't need to carry his cooking equipment far from his vehicle, and who regularly cooks for many people. It has a grease gutter and drain, and cleans easily.

This griddle is specifically designed for use with a two-burner stove, but also works great on a three-burner stove. We use it on a three-burner, and keep a Dutch Oven on the spare burner to put cooked food in and keep it warm.

The surface area of this griddle is very large, and so can handle cooking for many people at a time. If you need a large griddle for your stove and expect to heavily use it, the Camp Chef griddle is ideal.

2. Camp Chef Fry Griddle
This is a great product for large group camping. I have used two over the years to cook for Boy Scouts and now for a Venture Crew. I use the griddle on a two burner stove and then have a separate single burner also going. You can cook any meal for a large group such as pancakes or french toast on the griddle while cooking sausage or hash browns on the single burner. You can also set different temperatures on the griddle and cook just on it.

Fry griddle is an excellent accessory.
This accessory is designed to fit on the Camp Chef EX60LW two burner gas stove. After using on a recent camping trip I have decided to use it on my deck to cook breakfast and dinners. This is a well made heavy duty griddle and would recommend it to any one who enjoys cooking out. Also a great item for a tailgating party. Just think of Italian sausage with green peppers and onions.
