This Pressure Cookers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. modern features, good service
Fagor is the least expensive brand that I am aware of which also has the 'modern' features desirable in pressure cookers. To learn more about pressure cookers and what is desirable go to missvickie.com (a non-commercial site devoted to pressure cooker enthusiasts.) Some of these features deal with safety, e.g. you don't have to worry about plugging the steam escape with Fagor. Fagor cookers also reach a pressure of 15psi (which is important.) Unless a brand advertises that they do reach 15psi, assume that they don't. I suggest getting an extra gasket when you buy the item as you will need one at one point (they don't last forever). I must also compliment the company on its service. I bought this item, and sent in a rebate form (for a free stock pot). They sent me a nice paella pan by mistake. I was satisfied, however I called them to make sure that there was no mistake. They answered the phone right away (without the common maze of annoyingly slow and complex menu options.) The woman...

2. Love this cooker
I bought this set of pressure cookers over a year ago. It is the most used appliance I have ever owned. I have used it for chicken, roast, saurkraut and pork. Vegetables turn out great. It all turned out delicious. It does not burn things. The clear glass lid is an excellent addition to this set. Buy this set and you will love it. Pressure Perfect cookbook by Lorna Sass is a wonderful book full of useful information and great recipes.

Great time-saver!
I bought this pressure cooker set about a month ago and I love it. I had never used a pressure cooker before I bought this set, but I find it easy to use and very safe.

The set comes with a nice instruction book (with cooking times for lots of different food) and a small book of recipes. I like that I can cook brown rice in less time than it takes me to make white rice without a pressure cooker (about 20 minutes). I have successfully adapted a recipe for slow-roasted pulled pork to prepare it with sauce from scratch in less than an hour. As long as you're not looking for a crusty exterior, I think that you can make food of comperable quality as the oven or slow-cooker in a much shorter amount of time.

I find the two pots very convenient for making different quantities of food. With the glass lid, they work very well for other tasks such as steaming veggies briefly.

My only complaint about the set is that the insides of the pots are hard to get...

This Bake & Serve Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Great baking/serve set!!
I got this set for a wedding present almost 3 years ago and I still use it all the time!! It works well in the oven, for storing leftovers and serving dishes at the table. It really cuts back on dishes. The classic style make it suitable for any decor and clean up is a breeze. I have never had a problem getting it clean. Great set!!!

2. Great Idea, Broken Goods, Helpful Service
As a teenager, I often find it difficult to shop for my parents. This dish set screamed "MOM GIFT" though, and the price was very fair, so I quickly bought it. When the boxed wares arrived, however, one of the small ramekins had a large chip in it, and the medium oval dish was completely destroyed. After searching for quite a bit of time for a means of having the dishes replaced, I uncovered a customer service number (1-800-201-7575) that directed me to a representative who quickly solved my broken-dish problem and order a whole new shipment for me! The service I recieved from the helpful customer service staff made all the difference. Besides the broken wares, the purchase seemed to have been a good idea!

Durable and lasting design
I got some of these pieces 27 years ago when I bought a certificate of deposit from a bank.

I still have them and they look just as good as they did then. Strange to say that something so inexpensive is an investment, but they are.

After all these years, I bought more.

Great product.

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Ruined our stovetop
Worst purchase we've ever made from Amazon. My wife wanted a new set of cookware, so I pulled up Amazon, and told her to pick one.

The first time she used one of the pots, the brown copper paint or whatever is on the bottom, burned off and permanently damaged our electric stovetop. How does the bottom of a pan burn off onto the stovetop? You would think somebody would've tested the paint material before selling them.

Took the entire set to the post office today to return to Amazon. Must give credit to Amazon for the ease of returns.

Would definitely suggest going with Cephalon or another high quality brand name.

2. Great!
The item was a hit, it was neutral and fit perfectly. The sizes were nice a small family size and the lids were perfect.

You get what you pay for.
I bought this set as a gift for the new apartment I moved into. I didn't have much money so I bought something affordable and functional. This set is both of those things. I would not however, rate it high on durability. I have used only the plastic spoons that came with the set, and the non stick coating is starting to scratch. Not severely, but there are definitely noticeable scratches in the coating. The grooves that are cut into the bottom of the pans have been cut in after the outer coating was put on the pans. They have sharp edges and the paint on the bottom of the pans tends to come off on to your stove top on the first few uses. I have a glass cook top and it freaked me out when I saw that. But a simple cleaning with glass top cleaner takes it right off. Overall, the set is not a bad purchase. I use at least one of these pans almost daily. I have not had to replace anything yet after 3 months of use. Definitely a good substitute for a more expensive set if money is tight!

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Beautiful Lightweight Set - Comparisons w/ other SS sets
This is a very nice set of lightweight stainless steel cookware. If you are shopping around and trying to compare the differences, I will try to help you distinguish the features from a couple of other brands that I currently own. In addition to this set, I have the Rachael Ray stainless and also the Kitchen Aid stainless.

First of all, the Emeril pots and pans are by far the lightest weight. The Rachael Ray comes in the middle with very thick bottoms and thinner sides, and the Kitchen Aid is by bar the thickest and heaviest. I think what you want here is going to come down to personal preference. The RR and the Emeril brands have clear glass lids, while the KA is all stainless. All of the Emeril pieces are standard sizes, whereas you get really deep pieces in the RR collection. The KA pieces are just substantial.

The handles on the RR and KA have protective grips, whereas the Emeril handles are all stainless. I think this is going to personal preference...

2. Good, but the competition is better and cheaper.
Stainless steel cookware is great to look at and cook with, we can all agree on that. Depending on your style preferences, one brand may suit your needs better than others. This Emeril set follows the same path - great cookware, but...it's not as good as others.

Most of my cooking is currently done with Cooks Standard Multi-Ply Clad Stainless-Steel 10-Piece Cookware Set. It's beautiful, tough, heats evenly, and...overall, better than this Emeril set, though Emeril does win out in a couple of features.

First off, both sets look awesome. Both are made in China, so it's a level playing field. This Emeril set has glass lids, whereas the Cooks Standard has mirror-shiny stainless lids. I prefer the steel lids because the glass looks cheaper, and when I'm cooking, looking "through" the glass usually does nothing at all: I see steam.

Next, both sets heat quickly and evenly. Preheat...

All-Clad 59915 Stainless Steel All-Purpose Steamer with Lid Cookware, Silver

==================================================================

Polished 18/10 Stainless SteelDesigned for the delicate timing and high heat demands of steam cooking, this All-Clad stainless-steel steamer nestles deep into cooking vessels. The tiered structure fits both 6- and 8-inch diameter pots and creates an ideal steaming environment for small and large quantities of vegetables, greens, and fresh shellfish. • Versatile stainless-steel steamer insert for 6- and 8-inch diameter pots
  • Made from heavy-gauge 18/10 stainless steel with mirror finish
  • Loop-shaped handles with sturdy, non-corrosive rivets
  • Polished 8-inch stainless-steel lid fits securely
  • Dishwasher-safe; lifetime warranty

This Steamers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Gets Weekly Use
I love this steamer because it fits in All Clad sauce pans from 2 to 4 quarts. The other version with the long handle doesn't fit the 2-quart. I'm usually cooking for one or two, so the smaller capacity suits me.

Works beautifully. Easy to care for (dishwasher safe).

2. Fantastic Steamer! And GORGEOUS to look at as well...
Okay, I admit I have an All-Clad fetish after spending a small fortune on my Copper Core set, and a stainless non-stick skillet. So naturally I had to have this steamer insert as well. It looks just beautiful with the All-Clad pots, pretty enough to serve from at the table with company, and it performs MARVELOUSLY! Not a bit of steam escapes from either the connection at the pan, or from the steamer's lid. The food steams fast and furious and wonderfully--much better than with the old collapsible type steamer I used with my former Calphalon.

I also like that the moment the food is done, I can toss directly into the steamer a little butter or oil and some salt, and mix it around with the veggies quickly and easily--which was NOT the case with the collapsible type steamers that had to be removed from the pan before anything could be done to them (usually burning at least one finger or thumb!)

It fits my Copper Core 1.5 quart and 2 quart saucepans the best. It does...

Made in China!
This steamer is not of the same quality as the USA manufactured All-Clad cookware. It is lighter in weight and the handles and lid are not as nicely constructed. You are mistaken if you think you are getting the real deal with this item! I am sending it back. The consumer ought to know what he/she is getting!

Lodge Color EC3CC43 Enameled Cast Iron Covered Casserole, Island Spice Red, 3-Quart

Cheap Lodge Color EC3CC43 Enameled Cast Iron Covered Casserole, Island Spice Red, 3-Quart
==================================================================

This 3 Qt enamel covered casserole is great for cooking, marinating, refrigeration and freezing. The color porcelain enamel on cast iron can be used on gas, electric, ceramic and induction cooktops, as well as in the oven. Not recommended for use on outdoor grills or over open outdoor flames. Not for use in microwaves. Lodge Color Porcelain Enamel on Cast Iron cookware is cast from molten iron in individual sand molds. The porcelain surface eliminates the need to season cast iron. • Porcelain surface eliminates the need to season
  • Tightly fitting lid seals in moisture
  • Superior heat distribution and retention
  • Two layers of porcelain enamel are chip resistant
  • Easy clean up

This Casseroles give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Better than mario batali's
I have had this exact casserole for about a yr and a half now, maybe longer. I love it. I did not get it at amazon, but paid a similar price at a kitchen collection store (the kind you find at outlet malls), go there if you would like to see this collection IRL. The picture does not do this lodge series justice. I think that they are actually prettier than the le crueset version! It is a very deep and rich color, not like the bright tomato color from my computer monitor.

It cleans up beautifully, I have not had any issues with any staining. The outside is in perfect shape and looks brand new. I use it on a gas stove and store it in my oven. I use this casserole as a skillet about 75% of the time, but also use it in the oven as a casserole as needed. I figured that there is NO way I could pick up a cast iron skillet with the single handle, so why not save myself storage space by getting something that is basically the same size and depth, but allows me to carry it...

2. Love this Casserole
I have this casserole in the cafe color. When I ordered it, I wasn't certain I would like the color, but truthfully, I believe I prefer the more neutral color over the brighter colors. I have yet to use it in the oven 'cause I haven't had it long enough but it doubles nicely as a fry pan. I have fried chicken in it & country style steak with gravy with great results. My cooktop is the kind with cast iron burners, slow but easy on maintenance. Surprisely, this pan is so easy to clean & no worry about ruining the seasoning of the pan or eating non-stick coating. You have to wonder about cooking with non-stick when the manufacturers of non-stick cookware instructions tell you that cooking with it could be fatal to pet birds' respiratory systems.
It would be nice if Lodge made a 2 qt. enameled sauce pan 'cause I'd buy one in a flash. I also own a cheaper brand 3-1/2 quart Dutch oven & rice cooks wonderfully in it, and again, it's easy to clean.
I now have on order the Lodge...

Great dish!
This pot is beautiful! The blue is vibrant. This is my third enamel cast iron piece and I just love how they brown meat perfectly and clean up great. I can brown 5 chicken breasts at once in this pot, it also reduces liquids quickly. This dish is built to last... heavy, sturdy construction. I will have it for my lifetime and I have no doubt that my children or even grandchildren will use it too!

1. Great
Wow! Gift from my girlfriend. What a great pan. I'm not much of a cook, and have long been using cheap teflon coated pans. Now that I'm raising chickens and cooking eggs every morning I'm learning what a difference a great tool like this can make in the kitchen.

2. Beautiful little pan
This really is more of an omlet pan, or a pan for cooking up a single serving of meat. The copper requires polishing but it functions great.

Nice frying pan.
This is a beauty of a frying pan. A wee bit smallish but for certain things it is excellent and a very good backup sized for a large frying pan. Extremely even heat as would be expected with a near solid copper pan. I'd like to buy its big brother.

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Best cook ware set i own
I have owned this Red cookware set for about two years now (before finding it on amazon.com)and i have to say that it is the best set i own.I love the color, i love that it is NON STICK(no matter what you cook, it does not stick on the pot), i like the fact that i can pour out water from the sides if the pot like a kettle. It is easy to wash and it does everything it was designed to do.Trust me,when you buy this cookware set, you'll love it as much as i do.

2. kettles
I have had Tfal for many years but they were getting pretty bad. These I picked out for the lids and sizes of the pans, dutch oven, etc. Nothing sticks, no need to own a strainer, if one does a lot of cooking, would probably need a larger set, I don't.

Great...
...pots and pans, but the spatula and stuff that comes with it are cheapy. One handle on the large pot gets hot when I am cooking (which is weird because the other side is fine to touch) and there is one lid that the top gets hot on (but others are fine). Weird but other than that great set! If you remember to use pot holders then it will be fine :) They do heat evenly and do not scratch easily. Overall good product!

Swiss Diamond Nonstick Fry Pan with Lid - 9.5"

Bargain Swiss Diamond Nonstick Fry Pan with Lid - 9.5"
==================================================================

Arguably the most versatile piece of cookware available, a nonstick fry pan is a kitchen essential. The 24 cm (9.5”) skillet from Swiss Diamond is a perfect wedding present or housewarming gift, as it's the perfect size for cooking for two. Brown a chicken breast like stainless steel on the patented nonstick coating, then use the fond to create a gravy - or simply wash with hot soapy water, no more scrubbing or soaking. Heat-tempered glass lid included. The included tempered glass lid allows y...

  • Patented nonstick coating reinforced with real diamond crystals (PFOA-free)
  • Made in Switzerland; Cast aluminum; Oven-safe up to 500 degrees F
  • Stay-cool ergonomic handle provides a safe, comfortable grip
  • See-through tempered glass lid with knob that doubles as a steam vent

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Great design and exceptional quality THAT DID NOT LAST.
I have been looking for a good non-stick skillet. I've used non-stick skillets from All-Clad and Calphalon but they all had one problem: peeling of the non-stick layer. I saw an unused All-Clad skillet from their new line at Williams-Sonoma and it had scratches on the non-stick surface.

I found what I was looking for! This fry pan is excellent! It is made in Switzerland. It is big. The outside diameter is 13" and the bottom is almost 9 3/4". It requires a large burner. I have a Miele electric cooktop which has a burner large enough for this skillet. I have tried it over a smaller burner and it worked as well. The food browned evenly over the surface of the skillet. The cleaning is easy. I only have a small issue with the lid. The lid assembly was easy. However, during washing water gets into the steam vent and then it comes out after the lid is dried. It takes few drying sweeps to avoid water streaks on the lid.

Overall, I am very pleased with this skillet. I am...

2. easily the best skillet I have ever used
I found one of these locally at just below Amazon price, and bought it to try out. Now that I have used it for several months, I highly recommend it even at full list price, and am saving up to purchase a complete set to replace my other worn out pots and pans.

First things first:

This is one of the best nonstick surfaces I have ever used. Messes clean up better than from Teflon coated pans, even after sitting and getting cold and hard. I have never had to use more effort than simply wiping off with a kitchen sponge and some warm soapy water.

Unlike other surfaces, this one holds food in place until you are ready to move it. Things don't slide around, so they can properly sear and brown. This is also handy for things like fried eggs. I fried an egg just today and it came out perfect. With a little bacon grease for flavor, the surface gave the egg white just enough tension that the cooking egg held together into a nice 4 inch circle instead of...

The cookware I've always wanted
Over the years, my wife and I have tried all sorts of cookware. We have a good set of Calphalon stainless-steel cookware, but we've never mastered the art of cooking sticky dishes such as eggs without a non-stick pan. We've tried every type of non-stick pan we've encountered. Some are non-stick for a short time only before the surface gets mucked up. Our best Teflon pans, such as those by Calphalon, seem to remain non-stick for a very long time with careful cleaning, but recently we've learned that when heated, Teflon (PFOA) cookware outgases chemicals that are definitely not good for you. (An advisory committee has recommended that the EPA classify PFOA as a possible carcinogen.)

Swiss Diamond is PFOA-free and fantastically non-stick. We've used our two skillets extensively to cook eggs and to brown meat, and they look and work like new. Nothing sticks. Omelets are easy to prepare. Cleanup is a breeze. The lids have vents that can be opened or closed, a useful feature. The...

2. I love my steam juicer!
I loved this product from the moment I used it. Its maiden voyage was to juice my entire rhubarb patch. It worked every evening for a week. • Handles stay comfortably cool on the stovetop.

This Stockpots give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Great Size for 2-4 Servings
I have several other Unison pieces. I decided to grab the little soup pot while it was on sale.

It's a perfect size for 2-4 servings of soup or pasta sauce and fits easily into the dishwasher for cleanup.

Nothing sticks and in this instance (unlike the omelette pans) the lid fits securely.

I have used it for soup, pasta, a small pot roast (goes from stovetop to oven without a problem) and even making hard boiled eggs.

I cook without recipes and have a tendency to cook to the limits of the pot I'm using, so this petite soup pot keeps me from making soup for 12 when I meant to make soup for four.

I've used Calphalon pans for almost 20 years and the Unison's ability to be put into the dishwasher is the main reason why I'm slowly replacing my older pots with these.

2. Perfect little soup pot
I'm crazy about soup, but generally I only make it for myself. I've looked and looked for a sturdy smaller soup pot. This fits the bill perfectly. I can make enough soup for two or three very generous main-course servings. It makes more than enough for four or five first-course servings if I have guests. In addition to its practical side, this pot is so darned cute that I keep it on top of my stove. Definitely recommended. I have bought several Calphalon Unison items, and they all are wonderful.

Exacty what I wanted !
I usually only write negative reviews because I'm just mad! So here is one I am very happy about. I have alot of expensive cookware but I have been looking for several years for a couple of nonstick stock pots for making soups. (note: I have an 8qt and 12qt stainless commercial grade) After purchasing this 4qt, I purchased the 5qt searing pot: and then the 2 1/2 saute pan (regular not Unison/ just too expensive). I can not say enought good things about this Unison line. It compares in many ways with the performane I expect from my french copper and all-clad cookware.

Also convenient to boil water for oatmeal or french press coffee, a Le Creuset kettle is an easy way to add a small dash of color to any kitchen. • 8-quart stockpot made of heavy-gauge carbon steel with porcelain-enamel finish
  • Loop side handles ensure a secure grip when lifting or transporting
  • Tight-fitting domed lid with a stay-cool knob traps heat, moisture, and nutrients
  • Hand wash only; safe for use on all heat sources, including induction
  • Measures approximately 9-3/4 by 11-1/2 by 10 inches

This Stockpots give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Great pot for cooking pasta
With my induction cooktop, this is a great pot for cooking all kinds of pasta noodles. It is tall enough even for long lasagna noodles, but light weight enough to drain with little effort. It is also relatively easy to clean. (If pasta sticks, I just soak it for a bit and it cleans with little effort.) This is NOT the pot I would choose for making a soup or stew. The traditional Le Creuset or the Lodge Enameled Cast Iron both work with induction and traditional cook tops, and they are much better for long term braising, simmering, and reduction.

2. Not the Best
This is a nice pot but chips easily. The overall quality is not the best. Defects can be seen on the pot if you look closely, especially on the handles. The pot cooks food well and is a great size when making food for a party. If you plan on buying this pot, be very careful when using it and when cleaning it. It will chip very easily. I only use a wooden spoon when cooking with mine. You should also inspect the pot when you first receive it to make sure you get a pot without defects.

Good Value
When looking for a stock pot, I decided on this Le Creuset model because I loved the color and the price. With the All-Clad and Calphalon models I looked at priced between $225 and $450, this pot, at $55 caught my eye as ti was a good brand name but at the cheaper brand (T-Fal) price. And as you might expect, you do get what you pay for.

This is NOT a high performance pot. I made a pot of tomato soup with my first use, and right away noticed the pot had a hot spot, with the boiling bubbles coming from the same spot no matter how the pot was turned on the burner of the induction stove. It wasn't a major issue, but not something I would expect from the LeCreuset brand. I think the pot will be fine for making stock, soups, chili, and stews, but as a couple of reviewers have noted, it does have a tendency to have food stick to the bottom except on low heat. I had a little tomato burned to the bottom on the quarter sized hot spot I had noticed, but it cleaned up easily and...

T-fal Jamie Oliver 10-Piece Nonstick Cookware Set T-fal Jamie Oliver 10-Piece Nonstick Cookware Set is a complete cooking collection that addresses most of your cooking needs. T-fal hard anodized material can withstand use from metal utensils, while the thermo spot technology tells you when the pan is perfectly preheated. • Glass lid cover allows you to see the cooking progress of your meal
  • Hard anodized exterior for long lasting durability
  • Limited lifetime warranty;safe for all cooking methods except induction

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Not as good as other T-fal
Previously, I've owned the New - T-fal D913SC64 Signature Hard Anodized 12-Piece Cookware Set by T-fal, which I loved. I expected to feel the same way about this T-fal set. I was especially excited to try the square grill pan.

I seasoned the pans as directed, then I used the square grill pan for frying up some pork chops (something my other set of T-fal excels at). I couldn't believe how badly those chops stuck to the pan! Even after soaking the pan in hot, soapy water for an hour, I still had to use a lot of elbow grease to get it clean! It wasn't a matter of cooking it wrong either... The first time, I cooked them exactly the same as I do with my other pans. The second time, I used a much lower temperature (thinking that I may have accidentally cooked at too high a temperature the first time). Even using the lowest temperature, the chops still stuck!

After a little research, I think I've figured out why. T-fal has two different manufacturers produce...

2. Not a Great Set
The only thing "unique" about this set is the Thermo-Spot heat indicator, which lets you know when your pan is heated up by turning solid red. That's a fine feature, though I don't find it terribly important-- how hard is it to just wait a minute? I guess if you're in a rush and need to know right away, it's cool.

But I have several issues with this set:

1. NOT dishwasher safe. The manual says all their other sets are dishwasher safe, EXCEPT the hard anodized exterior sets. This is not made clear on the packaging.

2. Nonstick doesn't work well. Like another reviewer, I first tried cooking eggs in the small pan. They stuck like crazy! It specifically tells you not to use cooking spray or oil because it can mess up the pans, but there's no way I could go without it. I even took a photo because I couldn't believe what a mess it was to get these eggs out of the pan. I've had much better nonstick pans before.

3. Thinner than I'm used to. The pots...

Very nice cook set for an apartment.
Some of the reviews so far have not been particularly favorable, and I understand the concerns of those folk. Nonetheless, I've been thoroughly delighted with the set, which is impressive in appearance, has a decent, if not "Calphalonic" weight to each of the pieces, and stack easily in a small space (I have them on the top rack of a smallish baker's rack).

The pans conduct heat nicely and (surprisingly) evenly. I have not had any of the issues others have mentioned with things like releasing an egg from the pan, though I must admit, I use a bit of butter (always) and not cooking sprays (ever) for my eggs (or anything else - personal preference). I live alone, but entertain frequently and I've had no issue with the size of the pans, though I tend to make multiple courses of smaller amounts.

The only issue I've had with this set is that I generally make my sauces in a skillet (rather than a saucepan) and the shallowness of the pans makes serving the sauce...

Bargain Fagor 2-by-1 Splendid 5-Piece Pressure Cooker Set
==================================================================

Fagor's high-quality pressure cookers are essential tools for fast, easy and healthy cooking. In today's time-starved world, any item that allows for quicker food preparation while retaining essential nutrients and vitamins is something everyone can appreciate- and that's what we offers our customers. All of our pressure cookers are made of premium quality 18/10 stainless steel. Cookers can be used on any type of cooking surface, allowing greater versatility in today's ever-evolving kitchen. All...
  • 5-piece pressure cooker set includes 8- and 4-quart cooker pots, interchangeable pressure cooker and tempered glass lids, steamer basket with support trivet
  • Pots can be used as pressure cookers with pressure cooker lid or as regular pots with tempered glass lid
  • Made of 18/10 stainless steel; works with all cooking surfaces, including induction
  • Spring type mechanism with one pressure setting (high, 15psi); comes with a visual pressure indicator
  • Hand washing recommended

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. These are seriously good pressure cookers.
I am a self avowed pressure cooker junky. I have about 7 various brands and sizes and I have to say that with this combo of 4 and 8 qt models I'll probably never use any of my other ones again. They are built so well... They reminded me of Iron Clad. Plus they are so much quieter than my older style ones. I wish I had spent the money sooner. And, they are full 15 pounders, not the usual 12 lb ones I've had in the past... Big difference.
All I can say is spend the bucks and get the last ones you'll ever want to own.

2. Great, reliable cookers
I've had my 8 qt and 4 qt set for two years, replacing an old Presto aluminum cooker and use it all the time. The 4 qt pot is great for making rice, risotto and other grain recipes. I use the steamer insert in the 8 qt to make (I kid you not) meatloaf and mashed potatoes in 15 minutes. If you are new to pressure cooking you can't go wrong with this set and Lorna Sass' book Pressure Perfect: Two Hour Taste in Twenty Minutes Using Your Pressure Cooker (source of the meatloaf recipes).

If you are used to the jiggle-top pressure cookers, you will notice that there's a valve at the top of this one with some steam coming out and a button that raises to let you know it is on high pressure. It is much quieter than the jiggle top style. I love that it is stainless steel, too. Besides being easier to keep clean, it's much better for cooking any tomato-based sauces, curries, etc.

If you are new to...

Convenient 4-quart pot, solid make
I immediately fell in love with this set as soon as I opened the box. It is shining stainless steel, very thick and solid. I have used pressure cooker for 15 years. While my old aluminum one is wearing out and I broke another stainless steel one's handle, I have been looking for a new pressure cooker for 2 years. I have searched many local stores. Most are aluminum, some are hard anodized. They tend to wear out quickly. I was set to get a stainless steel one. Finally I bought this stainless steel set from [...]. Most pressure cookers are deep, good for stew and for cooking meat. This set comes with a 4-quart shallow pot which I could easily think of many things I could do with, like rice, stir fry, pancake,....... And it is easy to clean!

Today I cooked rice, it took only 8 minutes, Rice tastes much better than those made without using pressure cooker.

I would give it a 5 star, but the manual is a little confusing. if you haven't ever used pressure cooker before,...

  • Dimensions: 26" x 15" x 6"
  • Dual cool-touch for warming tray and pan

This All Products give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Fantastic Buffet Warmer!
I love the design of this stainless steel buffet, with three 2 1/2 quart trays/bins that fit inside a larger oven safe tray/pan. Put a little water in the oven pan and all three buffet bins have even and consistent heating, keeping your food hot for later comers or second helpings. Load the trays in the kitchen and use the pan to easily carry all three bins to the serving area in one trip. Or use the oven pan alone for lasagna or a whole roast and fixings. When it comes to cleanup, the three bins stack so they can soak in the sink for the second dishwasher load. I also love the cove slots for spoon handles.

It would take some space to store so if you plan on only occasional use, I would recommend keeping the box and storing on a closet or panty shelf. I plan to use it for weekly extended family dinners, so mine will stay out on the kitchen island most of the time. The larger size contributes to how well this buffet works as the long shallow bins have more heated...

2. Does the job
I bought this buffet to use for the holidays. The trays are a decent size but not as deep as I imagined they would be. The unit is quite bulky to store.

Plastic problems
Great product, however plastic lids began cracking after just a week of use. Cracks began around the handles and spread out. Looked at the warranty and plastic parts are not covered. Emailed maker and received no response. So I will never buy a product from this company again. As usual I have no complaint with Amazon.

  • Grippy handles - The rubberized dual-riveted handles are comfortable and oven safe to 350°F
  • Tempered glass lids - watch your foods cook without having to remove the lid to keep moisture locked in, lifetime limited warranty

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Good Value for the Money
They cook evenly. Pretty sturdily made with with rivets and they are lightweight without being flimsy. Easy to clean. Bottom of pans did not distort when heated. The padded handles for the lids and the pots are a sort of rubber or silicone which make for easy gripping and are cool to the touch (especially for the lids unlike metal handles). The colors are fun. The color is a an orange gradient that mutes the brightness of the orange color.

Why not a five star rating? I would like to see the layer of non-stick material to be thicker for more durability, but note that the pots and pans do come with a lifetime guarantee.

Good value for the money.

Also, note that these pots are not recommended for glass top stoves (per manual) as the ceramic bottom of the cookware could melt to the glass top.

2. Love them!
I have had this set for almost a year. We use them every day. They look beautiful hanging in my kitchen and they just make cooking a little more fun. They have held up perfectly. I have a glass top stove so I was a little concerned when I read in the manual that they arent ideal for that type of stove, but I have never had an issue.

They are light in weight, but not in durability. They clean up easily and beautifully. I have used an SOS pad on the outside and it doesnt scratch. I have also found them in the dishwasher when my children have to clean the kitchen and they have remained scratch free. They actually look almost as good as the day I bought them! I am now ordering sets for my friends for Christmas!

Good selection, attractive set, but a bit expensive and lightweight
An attractive cookware set that covers the basics. The well-made pans offer a good cooking foundation, but are a little too lightweight.

I've been cooking elaborately for years and have used a wide variety of kitchen gear. Like most seasoned cooks, I have my favorite pans and pan-types, and habits in how I use them. I was pleased to see several of my "usual" sizes included in this set, including the 3qt saute pan, the 6qt dutch-oven style stockpot, and the 10" skillet. The 2qt saucepan is adequate, though I usually prefer a 2.5qt. The sides of the saute pan are high enough to stir a thick pasta sauce, the stockpot has a wide enough base to allow meat to brown.

The one omission is a heavy-bottomed 12" skillet, something I use regularly for frying and searing.

Less useful is the 1qt saucepan-- there's not much I'd make in a 1qt that wouldn't be fine in the 2qt, and the 8.5" skillet is too small to be useful-- it's fine if you want to fry an egg, or...

Buy All-Clad 7112 NS R2 Master Chef 2 Stainless Steel 3-Ply Bonded Dishwasher Safe Nonstick 12-Inch Fry Pan Cookware, Silver
==================================================================

Searing meats, frying eggs, and preparing your favorite meals is a breeze with All-Clad's fry pan. Designed with a classical sloped shape, the pan is unsurpassed in aesthetics and in quality. Attractively designed and incredibly tough, this piece is constructed of three layers of metal; a brushed aluminum alloy beautifully complements the non-stick coated stainless steel interior that provides the ideal cooking surface for easy food removal and a quick cleanup. These two layers combined with a p...
  • Classic slope-sided, 12-inch frying pan
  • Stainless-steel interior; brushed aluminum exterior; aluminum core
  • Layer of scratch-resistant, professional-grade nonstick bonded to interior
  • Long, comfortable stay-cool handle riveted for strength
  • Lifetime warranty against defects

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. All-Clad is the best overall.
The ongoing debate over cookware at my house is over: All-Clad is the best cookware overall and is worth the extra money. Our coppers tarnish and require retinning. Our encapsulated disk cookware (Reverere and Farberware) suffer from loose and broken plastic handles and too-small disks which limit the cooking area of the fry pans. The biggest debate was between Calphalon and All-Clad LTD nonstick models. My wife really liked the lighter weight of Calphalon's Commercial Nonstick line. After living for both for several years, All-Clad has shown its overall superiority in the following ways:
1) Durability. The non-stick finish All-Clad uses wears like iron. The Calphalon's finish shows many more scratches and blisters.
2) Denser anodized finish. The All-Clad LTD finish is much denser and more even that that on Calphalon. This makes it more attractive and easier to clean. On the MC2 stuff the finish is not anodized, but it is tightly frosted and well made. It's quite...

2. Warranty problems
I have a full collection of All Clad pans, and recently returned the 8" nonstick pan as it sticks terribly even with quite a bit of oil. Mostly used as an egg pan, always hand washed and never in the dishwasher but has been around for years. I returned this pan under lifetime warranty over two months ago and still it has not been replaced. I have called and emailed, and still am not sure if it has even been sent out to me. I was asked for the USPS confirmation number for the return, thank goodness I paid extra at the post office for this and have saved it. That was weeks ago, making me think
they had lost my return. Called again today as still no pan, and got no information when it is coming but the promise to call back about it. Don't know that I would spend almost $100 again for an egg pan with this kind of service. I would expect better service from All Clad than this.

Returning pan
Purchase one of the 10" fry pans April 1, 2010. Non-stick coating is peeling up off the edge of the pan. I am returning the pan to All Clad.

Pretty disappointing as I have owned a LOT of cheaper brands and never had the non-stick coat simply peel off the pan in a sheet like this.

It includes saucepans for whisking a homemade sauce or cooking your morning oatmeal, a big stockpot for soups, stews or boiling pasta, and skillets (probably the most used pan in any kitchen) that will help you turn out perfect crepes or a simple grilled cheese sandwich. • Pots and pans feature aluminum exteriors to distribute even heat with blue porcelain enameling
  • Clear tempered glass lids for monitoring cooking progress by sight; top-mounted handles
  • Riveted aluminum handles with easy-to-grip silicone coating
  • Oven-safe up to 400 degrees F; hand wash; limited lifetime warranty

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Outstanding Quality
I purchased the Rachael Ray 10-Piece Porcelain Enamel Coodware Set in Blue at the end of December 2007. The handles are securely attached. The pans are just the right weight....not too heavy and not too light. The stay cool handles are terrific. The non-stick surface is awesome...the food slides right off. The see-through lids are great so you can keep an eye on whats cooking. It has the look and feel of expensive cookware but is very reasonably priced. The only thing that I didnt know before I purchased this item was that it is not recomended to cook on high with a glass top stove. I guess the enamel can fuse to the cook top. I have a glass top stove and at first I was concerned. I cook with this cookware set on Medium High instead of high. I have not had a problem at all. In fact, I used to burn meals in my old cookware but now that I dont use high heat to cook with I have not burned a single meal! If you are looking for great cookware with outstanding quality then I highly...

2. Color comes off in water!
I was really excited to buy these, loved the color and loved the silicone handles. Unfortunately I have discovered the porcelain enamel rubs right off, even with just plain old water.

I noticed the first week I bought the set that the most of the pans already had minor smudges exposing the metal of the pan under the green paint. Then one day I was toweling off a pan I HAND WASHED and noticed the green enamel rubbed off all over the towel. I simply washed the pans with warm soapy water, nothing harsh.

I am extremely dissappointed with the quality of these pans. It is a great design but they are evidently made with very cheap workmanship.

Excellent, Affordable Cookware!
I have the blue set. This cookware is very affordable for what you get and so nice to use. I love the rubber handles that are angled upward and the see-through lids. My only complaint is that this set is not dishwasher safe. If you run these through the dishwasher, the color will fade. I have not done this because the paperwork included said not to do so, but I have heard complaints of the color fading after cleaning in a dishwasher. This is an excellent beginner cookware set!

Old Dutch Cookware Rack with Grid, Graphite

Buy Old Dutch Cookware Rack with Grid, Graphite

36 x 8 1/2 Graphite Bookshelf Rack w/Grid and 12 Hooks
  • Heavy gauge pot rack measures 36-inch by 8-1/2-inch
  • Comes with a matching grid and 12 hooks
  • Plated metal finish increases the durability and strength of each pot rack
  • Top of the grid can be used for additional storage
  • Removable hooks allows you to adjust and arrange the pots

This Cookware Holders give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Easy to Install - Quality Material - Classic Finish
I purchased the Old Dutch 36.2 x 9 x 12 Graphite Bookshelf with Grid and 12 Hooks (manufacturer item # 104GU) to compliment my Calphalon One Anodized cookware set.

Simply put, this was an easy install -- but only if you take the time to make sure you have measured twice and absolutely use a level!

There are just four mounting (wood) screws. Because the item is heavy, you must install the rack in your wall's studs, otherwise you are just asking for trouble.

Here are the tools that you will need:

Stud finder

Level

Drill with 3/8" bit (cordless drill works well, but it will require a drill with medium to heavy torque to drive the screws)

Phillips screwdriver or bit for your drill

#10 metric wrench or socket and driver

You can install the rack by yourself (I did), but because of its weight, it will go smoother if you have a helping hand to hold the rack against the wall and hand you the...

2. Love this thing
I have had this rack for several months now. I love this thing! It's well made, and looks great. I have a small kitchen with very little cabinet space, and this emptied out a whole cabinet.

Very nice product but mounting requires some tools and skill
This rack arrived as advertised and is sturdy and when correctly mounted will hold most anything you want to hang from it. I am very pleased with the rack. But, the mounting instructions leave something to be desired. Here is my recommendation for mounting:

Note: If your wall happens NOT to have the standard stud spacing, you're out of luck. The rack comes predrilled for a 32" spacing between holes. Find your studs and measure this spacing before starting. If it turns out you don't have two studs 32" apart for mounting, I suggest you box the thing up and return it. It's NOT a good idea to try and use drywall anchors to mount this rack!!!

1. Here's what you absolutely must have to correctly mount this rack: a) a stud finder (and know how to use it, b) a good level (a laser model is even better), c) a socket set with a 10 mm socket (why do the Chinese ship metric bolts to the U.S.!!?? and beware ... the nearest U.S. size is going to strip the heads of the bolts, so...

Camp Chef SG100 Deluxe steel fry griddle

Cheapest Camp Chef SG100 Deluxe steel fry griddle
==================================================================

The Camp Chef SG100 38 x 16 inch Deluxe Fry Griddle features high walls and grease drain. Fits over all three burners on GB and TB models, also fits SPG-90B.
  • Great for Large Groups
  • Covers all three burners
  • Great for pancakes and eggs
  • Grease tray captures and removes grease
  • High wall design for easy cooking

This Griddles give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Superb Product
This griddle is heavy 3/16" steel. It functions much like a good carbon steel fry pan, such as an expensive De Buyer professional skillet - FANTASTIC cooking properties and easy care. Ignore the 3-star reviewer who says the griddle needs cleaning with soap and water - apparently they do not understand how a steel griddle works. It rarely needs any cleaning, but when it does just heat some hot water on it (or pour hot water) and scrub gently with a brush or scotch brite gentle "blue" pad (no soap please, or you may ruin the non-stick properties and thus require re-seasoning of the surface). Steel wool or more aggressive pads will remove the seasoning. Scrape off any stuck on bits with a steel spatula - no worries regarding scratching, another great feature! I keep a blue scotch brite in my griddle bag with all soap removed from it. Between uses you will want to clean any potentially rancid oil off of the surface using the same technique.

2. Darn near mil-spec
Super-heavy construction, and preseasoned to boot. This is as close to a commercial griddle surface as you'll ever take outdoors camping.

Did I mention heavy? It's 29 freaking pounds! Gobs of thermal mass...I took it out to a big picnic of foodies, and we ran a bacon tasting (15-20 pounds of multiple bacon brands, cooked under cast-iron bacon presses) with superb results.

Not mentioned in the product description: the grease gutter incorporates a drain hole, and the product includes a wire cage to hang a steel can from as a grease catch. Nice.

This All Products give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Yes we can!
Pressure canned apple butter, in pints and half pints, using the Duo 10-quart pressure cooker/canner and very satisfied with its performance. The spring-style pressure mechanism is very quiet compared to the rocker style, and the psychological effect is less like a rocket launch and more like using ordinary cookware. The solid-bottomed 18/10 stainless steel has a beautiful, mirror-like finish and is compatible with induction range tops (Fagor manufactures induction ranges). The pressure slide did hang up one time, and the cooker wouldn't pressurize, but with persistence the slide goes in with a little wiggling. The 10-quart Duo holds four pint or five half-pint jars on the slightly undersized canning rack - a reasonable load for the home canner. The stainless steel ladle and funnel look great and are almost as solid as the cooker. The stainless steel funnel can be submersed in boiling water, and although that's not really necessary with pressure canning, why not kill bacteria...

2. I'm glad I went for the 10-quart but wish I had gotten the steamer set
I had a really hard time deciding which Fagor pressure canner to buy, and I almost wish now that I'd purchased the 10-quart one with the steamer insert instead of this set. It's not that this isn't a fantastic set, but I already had everything I needed to can with except for the canning rack. I realized after it all arrived that I probably could have found something suitable to fit this pressure canner at the thrift store. Now I'm using it to cook all kinds of things, and I really want/need that steamer basket!

What I want to say is that I was afraid of pressure cookers from childhood experiences in the fifties. Once my mother blew up her pressure cooker, splattering super-hot food all over the kitchen. I'll never forget it. It was like a bomb going off! Then one day she couldn't get it open at all and wound up throwing it out in the garden to see if it would ever loosen up enough to open it. (It never did, and we had to eat oatmeal for dinner that night.) So,...

Good Quality, Good food! Delicious, easy risotto!
I haven't canned yet, but I have tried 3 recipes. Everything came out great. I especially loved the risotto. I started it in a smaller stainless steel pan, sauteeing the onions and then rice, then adding most of the liquid until it was all boiling, then I inserted the whole pan into the pressure cooker on the rack (small pan is uncovered). It cooked for 10 minutes without standing there stirring it constantly for 30 minutes! It was perfect! The ribs were also amazing! I just put the dry rub on and put them on the rack, then drizzled a little bbq sauce over them. (Different sized ribs need different times, but the manual has recommended times and many recipes). A short time later the ribs were tender and yummy. I put them in the broiler just to make them a little crusty. Amazing! I can't wait to get cooking this weekend!

Of course, Amazon is always a winner, too! It arrived quickly with free shipping.

Cuisinart CRHC-22B Chef's Classic Half-Circle Wall-Mount Pot Rack, Brushed Stainless

Cheapest Cuisinart CRHC-22B Chef's Classic Half-Circle Wall-Mount Pot Rack, Brushed Stainless
==================================================================

Cuisinart CRHC-22B Half Circle Wall Cookware RackKeep pots and pans out of curious toddlers’ reach by hanging them from this half-circle, wall cookware rack from Cuisinart. While many racks hang over cutting islands in a kitchen’s center--blocking the sightlines and bumping the heads of taller individuals--the half-circle model fits neatly against a wall to preserve open space while providing quick and easy access to cookware. Made of stainless steel with a brushed finish for luster, this ...
  • Hanging, half-circle cookware wall rack
  • Stainless steel; brushed finish for luster
  • 6, angled stainless-steel hanging hooks come with rack
  • Cuisinart includes all necessary hardware for mounting
  • Rack measures 25.9 by 12.9 by 5.9 inches; weighs 4 pounds

This Pot Racks give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Great pot rack! Hanging is NOT a problem.
This is a very nice rack. Solidly built, nice finish, and the half circle shape looks nice.

A quick note about mounting this. A previous reviewer said it is not possible to mount this on wall studs. This is only partially correct. This rack has three holes: two on the half circle, and one on the middle bar (the part that extends vertically). The two holes on the circle are spaced exactly 16 inches apart- this is the correct spacing for wall studs. The third hole is right in the middle of the other two holes so unless you have some strange wall studs you will not be able to attach this to a stud. Although the instructions say that you need to attach all 3 points to studs, the rack hangs absolutely fine if you only attach 2/3 points. Just make absolutely sure that that you attach both points to studs (this is a must!) and that you use a *toggle bolt* for the third point- these are very strong bolts that can hold 200+ lbs by themselves. We've mounted ours with two...

2. Great for small places
This unit works very well in an area that does not have a ton of room. I installed this in my apartment very easily and it works great. If I had more room I would have gone for a ceiling mount, but this is perfect for a wall mount unit. The area I installed it in had no real studs to drill in to as they are metal and framed on the edges of this wall spot. I used 3, 200 lb toggle bolts instead and it holds fine and is very sturdy .

Love it!
I love my half circle wall cookware rack! I measured my space and explored many options for cookware racks and this one suited my needs the best. I have it hanging above my kitchen window so it doesn't interfere with traffic in the kitchen. It is heavy, sturdy and supports all my cookware beautifully! Sam, Minnesota

  • Easy to clean; the pressure cooker pot is dishwasher safe

This Pressure Cookers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Kitchen life changer!
I am one of those people that has always liked the thought of "nutritional, home cooked" dinners. By the time I think about cooking the stews/roasts/whole chickens/etc. it is already too late in the day so there they sit in the freezer while I am running to the store for something quick. It's really sad to see beautiful, fresh stew vegetables (along with great intentions) go bad in the refrigerator. Well, NO MORE!!!!

If you are thinking about buying a pressure cooker, go for it! Mine came in the mail yesterday and I made Tortellini Stew last night - oh my gosh it was the most tender stew meat we've had in years. It was even better than sitting in the crock pot all day! I did not pressure cook the little tortellinis :) but everything else cooked so easily. I put the stew meat in with garlic, olive oil, tomato paste and about 2 cups of stock. That pressure cooked on high for 10 minutes. Then I released the pressure (my husband calls it "releasing the aromas" because it...

2. Quick and easy
I received this model as a wedding gift and have never looked back. I was scared of pressure cooking - the burning of things, the exploding lids, the "is it done yet" questions. This pot has never failed me. I use it all the time to cook up legumes and veggies. No more store bought beans for our family. It cooks about 2 times as fast as my friend's cheap aluminum one, so it holds pressure well. The lid is easy to set up, the safety features don't get in the way, and as long as you remember to line up the marks on the lid with the ones on the handle, you will never have a problem. I've had it for over 2 years, use it very often and I'm yet to replace the gasket. Could not be happier.

My Fagor-ite Pressure Cooker
I bought a Fagor 10 quart pressure cooker about 3 weeks ago and so far the only quibble I have, and it's not a big one, is that it could be a little easier for newbies to tell when the thing is up to its cooking pressure. The manual, and the video that came with the PC both say that it's up to pressure when the little yellow button pop up. That's not actually true. When the button pops up, that means that the pot is pressurized, not that it is up to 15 psi. It is up to full pressure when wisps of steam start coming out of the relief valve.

Today I made Lentil Soup with 10 minutes of cooking time. If I had started timing when the yellow button popped up the lentils would not have been done because it took (I'm guessing here, I didn't time this part) an extra 2 or 3 minutes from the point where the yellow indicator button popped up to when stream started coming out of the relief valve. If the steam is hissing out then you need to turn down the heat until wisps of steam gently...

All Clad 4112 Stainless Steel 3-Ply Bonded Dishwasher Safe 12-Inch Fry Pan Cookware, Silver

Cheap All Clad 4112 Stainless Steel 3-Ply Bonded Dishwasher Safe 12-Inch Fry Pan Cookware, Silver
==================================================================

This All Clad 18/10 stainless steel aluminum core 12-Inch Fry pan is the perfect kitchen essential for a new homemaker as well as the well-seasoned cook and everyone in between.
  • 3-Ply bonded construction
  • Dishwasher-safe; Hand-washing recommended
  • Exterior compatible on all induction as well as traditional cooktops
  • Essential cookware item for the novice or well-seasoned cook
  • Perfect bridal or housewarming gift

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. One great fry pan
Everyone needs a good 10inch fry pan. It is by far the work horse in the kitchen. At home I keep three 10" Stainless pans in my rack at all times.

I owned a set Emerilware to start (Wedding gift). Great starting out set but they lack the construction that makes a fine pan. This was my first new pan in my journey to upgrade all my cookware.

The All clad Frying pans tri-ply construction is like night and day over the single play sides of cheaper pans. You no longer have sauces and other foods burning on the pan sides when cooking with gas. I never had this problem on my electric range. It wasn't until I upgraded to a gas cook top that the sidewalls of the pans became an issue. The evenness of the heating on this pan is amazing. I have a Infrared Thermometer and I checked the temp variation across the pan and it was within 5 degrees across the bottom. You really notice this when reducing sauces as the bubble pattern at the bottom is evenly distributed over the whole...

2. Amazing
I was a bit concerned over all of the negative reviews of stainless steel cookware. Many people were saying that you can't cook eggs on a stainless pan or that they burn food and are defective, etc.

However, if you can follow simple directions you can cook anything on a stainless pan quite easily. It is important to use much lower heat than you would use on a non-stick pan. I just want to stress the fact that stainless steel pans are great for cooking. If I can cook scrambled eggs on a stainless pan anybody can.

This was my first time cooking on stainless steel. I'm a total convert. I will never cook with non-stick again, ever. There is no reason to get the teflon chemicals in your body. I don't know how much non-stick actually harms people but I'm not willing to take that gamble.

This is more of a review of stainless steel in general, but this pan is amazing. The craftsmanship is excellent. If I could afford it I would definitely buy All-clad for all...

10 Stars to the All Clad Company
I own practically everything this company has ever made, even some pieces that haven't been made in years. I have cookware, utensils, canisters, you name it. I generally don't buy designer items, but I try to buy quality. This line has been one of the best investments in my home I've ever made.

Just a couple of months ago, after having a conversation asking if they'd examine some of my cookware (the bottoms on those pieces were not flat enough to use on my glass top range without spinning around), I mailed off 4 of my larger pieces.

Thanks to All Clad, I have brand new, non-spinning cookware items- 3 qt and 6 qt saute pans, an 8 qt stockpot, and a 12" frypan.

I found them to be very kind, and when it was all said and done, they replaced every piece from the over 17-year old set that I sent them without question or hesitation. They even included brand new lids for the 3 items I sent that use them without requesting the lids from my old cookware...

This Pressure Cookers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Lafaise/Secura Better than their word
I had an old aluminum pressure cooker from Household Institute and could not anywhere get a new seal. I wanted and looked and shopped and waited a long time for a Stainless Steel cooker. This one seemed to get decent reviews for the price and had what I wanted, so I talked Santa into getting it for us for Christmas. I had some problems at first as it did not get up to "pressure" on the pressure setting and did not count down, but instead went to the "Warm" mode. Amazon would not replace a product unless it was damaged in shippping or their fault, but would refund your money. It worked well in the "Rice" mode making perfect rice; and I did not want my money back. I left an Amazon review and a message with Secura at thesecura.com. Almost immediately the seller Lafraise contacted me (THEY Contacted me!), apoligized for any inconvenience and confirmed my shipping address to send a new one. Secura contacted me as well to follow up. Some people just talk and I know what it is like to try to...

2. superb tool
Update 4-8-13:
You might consider getting a spare lid or at least spare gaskets to use for savory versus non-savory foods. After cooking jambalaya, the gasket retains some onion and garlic smell. That did not seem to bother the final flavor of the bread pudding I next made. But I can imagine it might at some point. So I am switching gaskets for savory versus non-savory foods.

I cooked three dishes with this the first day I had it. Mexican rice, Creole chicken, and a big pot of McCann's steel cut Irish oats. The speed is amazing, a few minutes of prep, a few minutes in the cooker and a few minutes to de-pressurize. It is truly awesome on the steel cut oatmeal, normally you have to stand there for about an hour stirring every few moments. With the Secura, I dumped in the oats and the water at bedtime, and set the timer to cook the oatmeal for 5 minutes at 6:30 this morning. When we got up the oatmeal was perfectly done, the pot had depressurized and it was ready to...

Well-built, works perfectly
I've had this one for a couple months now, and am totally happy with it. I was debating between this one and the Fagor 670040230 6-Quart Multi-Cooker, and chose this one because of the stainless steel pot, and the fact that the delay timer works for up to 24 hours (rather than just 8 for the Fagor). It's been great - the browning function works really well as an electric skillet, which is great for Mexican rice where we sautee onions and garlic and toast the rice before cooking it. Brown rice cooks in about 15 minutes total, the slow cooker has been great for chili, and the pressure cooker works as you'd expect, with unsoaked beans cooking really quickly.

I was a little worried about the quality before getting it since I've never heard of this brand before, but I have to say this thing is solid - built like a tank.

I found I've had to reduce the amount of water for rice, but I've heard...

All-Clad LTD 11-Inch Square Nonstick Grill Pan

Cheap All-Clad LTD 11-Inch Square Nonstick Grill Pan
==================================================================

Distinguished among All-Clad's renowned cookware collections by
its stylish, charcoal-black, hard-anodized aluminum exterior, the LTD
line provides serious and professional cooks with all the virtues that
make All-Clad's worldwide reputation unsurpassed. Key to its high
performance is a three-ply, bonded construction. Sandwiched between the
exterior and the interior lies a thick core of pure aluminum that
spreads heat evenly across the bottoms of pots and pans and all the way
up the sides...
  • 11-inch square, nonstick grill for stovetop grilling
  • Stainless-steel interior, hard-anodized aluminum exterior, aluminum middle layer
  • Layer of scratch-resistant, professional-grade nonstick bonded to interior
  • Stainless-steel, stay-cool handle riveted for strength
  • Lifetime warranty against defects

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. A great product
We use ours all the time for grilling chicken & beef. Was skeptical that a non-stick pan could create nice black grill marks on the food, but it does. Compared it to the Le Creuset, which is also a nice piece, but the All-Clad is much lighter and easier to clean. And no need for a George Foreman grill! :)

2. Trouble-Free Indoor Grilling
I threw away an old-fashioned Lodge cast-iron grill pan (heavy, hard-to-clean, and with a tendency to produce heavily charred food)and replaced it with this one. I am highly satisfied with All-Clad's product! The pan turns out perfect meat and fish with brown--rather than black--grill marks, and cleaning requires nothing more than a once-over with a soapy kitchen sponge. Also, the rectangular shape of the pan seems to accomodate large-sized pieces of food better than my former round pan.

Such a GREAT pan!
My husband and I LOVE this pan! He looks for things to grill just so that he can use it. We're vegetarian and love grilling vegetables and veggie burgers, hotdogs, and sausages. It give food and really nice grilled taste. And it cleans up so easily! It also heats up quickly and requires only medium heat.

Bargain Gourmet Chef Induction Ready 7-Piece Non-Stick Cookware Set, Black

Bring out the best in your kitchen meal after meal with this modern design non stick cookware set. Features a heavy gauge aluminum core that conducts and distributes heat evenly for phenomenal results. Set includes 1-Quart covered sauce pan, 3-Quart covered sauce pan, 5-Quart covered casserole and 10-Inch fry pan. Black.
  • Clear heat resistant tempered glass lids lets you monitor cooking
  • Stay cool silicone handles
  • Induction base for multi surface cooking
  • Non stick surface
  • Easy to clean

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. not induction cookware
this cookware set comes with a flat iron base plate that heats up on an inbduction surface. the cookware then sets on the hot metal base plate . Although it can be handy to have one of these base plates in case you just have to use a piece of unique non cookware, you will be disappointed with the inefficient use of electricity and very slow heating time. buy one of the plates but use real induction cookware whenever possible on your induction surface.

2. Poor Quality
Do not buy. Save your money. The cookware was purchased for induction cooking. Only two of the pans can be used for the induction surface. The other two pans do not work on the induction surface. I was very disappointed in the cookware. The coating on the inside is already coming off after one use. The pans are being hand washed. This was a Christmas present from my husband Patrick. I was thrilled to receive them until I tried to use them. Very disappointed. They will be donated to a local charity.

  • 100-Percent Natural and 99-Percent Pure Iron
  • Guaranteed without PTFE or PFOA and no chemicals added; naturally non-stick after seasoning
  • Bee Wax was discovered by deBuyer as a by-product in nature to help protect these pans against oxidation and assist in seasoning
  • Care : don't put it in the dishwasher, deglaze with hot water for washing, use coarse salt for sterilizing
  • Made in France

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. 7 Steps to Seasoning
First off: If you cannot lift heavy pans, don't get these. Instead, I'd opt for high-quality stainless. And if possible a stainless/copper.

With that said, these are truly a lifetime investment item if they are taken care of. Once it's seasoned, you cannot cook a better pan-fried steak. One of the best pans I've used thus far, and I've owned a restaurant.

There are a few suggestions for seasoning. The company's seasoning method is fine, but it's more ideal for a restaurant environment where the pan is being used multiple times a day...thereby creating a very quick seasoning layer from cooking alone. I have found though that cooking at home is different, and the maturation can take much longer. So, I want to share with you what I do to achieve the best and most successful seasoning of my Debuyer iron pans without the sticky residue or uneven seasoning. I'm certainly not the authority on seasoning, but I hope this helps.

What you will need: Water, 3...

2. This is it!
Over the years I have a collection of All-Clad Stainless Tri-Ply, Calphalon nonstick, plus a cast iron pizza pan, so I am quite familiar with the strength and weakness of each type of material.

The stainless tri-ply sears well, has pretty good heat conductivity, can be nonstick if you use good technique(dry and warm up certain type of food before cooking, and use enough oil), but it's a pain to clean.

You are probably familiar with nonstick like Caphalon. They work pretty well, don't sear as well as tri-ply stainless, but is easy to clean. They wear out after a few years and you have to replace them. To me, they have no soul. I mostly used mine for eggs.

I used the cast iron pizza pan for steak, hamburger, and frittata. It's well season and nonstick. The one big draw back is that it weight a ton.

I heard good thing about DeBuyer iron cookware so I ordered a DeBuyer 24cm bluesteel crepe pan as it's inexpensive to try out. It's fantastic: eggs...

I love it
I already use the pre-Bee 10" Mineral fry pan de Buyer Mineral Pan, Fry Pan: 10" which is absolutely great. In the terms of the old hot-rod axiom, "if some is good, more is better, and too much is just right," so I bought this 14" monster. I'm going to have to order a larger "universal" fry pan lid since my old one is too small. I love the little honey bee stamped into the bottom of the pan and the honey-colored dot in the handle. Perfection is all in the details, right? I watched the instructions on U-tube, and even though DeBuyer no longer recommends it, I boiled a bunch of potato peelings for a very long time, and then some peanut oil for a less than very long time. Slick as glass and ready to cook now, but not until a few more family members drop by. This pan is BIG. It doesn't show up in all of the advertising photos, but mine actually has a U-shaped handle on the side opposite the long, flat handle for a...
