  • Comfortable lid and stay-cool pot handles riveted for strength
  • Dishwasher-safe, but hand-washing recommended
  • Lifetime warranty against defects

This Stockpots give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Even better than the 6 quart!
When purchasing our original All-Clad cookware, we explicitly went for the 6-qt Dutch oven/stockpot, since we are a family of two. While the 6-qt has served us well for several years, I discovered I'd need the slightly greater volume when making some fruit preserves this summer. So I bought the 8-qt.

It's been a joy to own and use. Unlike the 6-qt, whose handles get a mite warm after long stove-top cooking, the 8-qt handles rarely get hot, even after cooking on a gas range for a couple of hours. I don't regret our original purchase decision, but I do like the 8-qt version a bit better than the 6-qt now.

2. A Co-Dependent Relationship
I'm unnaturally dependent on my All Clad 8 quart -- so much so that I bought a second. Soup cooks like a dream in it, and it's great for making stock -- wide enough to brown the chicken and onions before adding the water. Unlike my old cruddy Revereware, you don't get great globs of stuck stuff on the sides that forces you to lose arm muscle scrubbing it off. Cleaning is easy with All Clad-- a must for someone without a dishwasher. Will this addiction ever cease??!!!

All-Clad Stainless 8-Quart Stockpot
Both the 6 and 8 quart stockpots are must haves for your All Clad cookware collection. The 6 is great for sauce, a pound of lasagna or rigatoni, soup or stew and the 8 quart is a must have for my favorite meatballs that I cook in my sauce with sausage and steak. At first I didn't think I would need both but now that I do I can imagine doing all the Italian cooking that I do with out them. I can get my sauce and meatballs cooking in the 8 quart and start boiling lasagna noodles in the 6 quart. I love them both.
These pans are made very well, heat evenly, are very easy to clean and are designed to last. All Clad cookware is one of the most expensive lines around and it is worth every penny, it really is lifetime cookware (backed by a lifetime warranty). This pan is a definite must have. Very, very highly recommended! A+++!...

Lodge CRS15 Pre-Seasoned Carbon Steel Skillet, 15-inch

Deals for Lodge CRS15 Pre-Seasoned Carbon Steel Skillet, 15-inch
==================================================================

This American-based company, Lodge Manufacturing, has been fine-tuning its construction of rugged, cast-iron cookware for more than a century. Now Lodge Manufacturing has added a new line of seasoned carbon steel skillets. Made of 12 gauge carbon steel it is brutally tough and takes high heat for browning and searing. It maintains very low and very high temperatures, making the pan a highly effective and versatile cooking piece. This 15-inch paella-style skillet is constructed of carbon steel so...
  • Foundry seasoned and ready to use
  • Takes high heat well
  • 12 gauge carbon steel
  • Use on all heat sources except microwave ovens
  • Made in the USA

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. A welcome addition; great for sautee'ing
This pan is the same design and manufacture of the smaller 8", 10" and 12" Carbon Steel pre-seasoned skillets from Lodge. Formerly only producing cast iron-only cooking utensils, Lodge adds these carbon steel pans which are a hit with professional chefs already and will add to your cookware collection with great benefits.

This 15" pan mimics the Spanish-style Paella pan with the wide cooking surface and sloped, shallow sides, making it easy to sautee meats and vegetables. The two handles make it easy to carry from stove to table for direct serving.

Heat the skillet slowly, add a generous amount of cooking oil (I have started using only light olive oil or EVOO and sometimes with a combination of a pat of butter; Do not use spray...the soy lecithin leaves that nasty, brown gunk-like residue) and enjoy a great pan. Wash with hot water and a brush. Try not to use dish detergent unless absolutely needed and for goodness sakes, keep it out of the dishwasher...

2. Want to keep it but convex center ruins it
I purchased this skillet through Amazon's MyHabit site. I was happy with it taking it out of the box and anxious to use it, but unfortunately mine arrived warped. The center is convex shaped, rising above the outside edges. All oils and liquids run to the edges and pool there, scorching what is in the center. After three attempts to cook various things with it, I've deemed it unusable because it is impossible to heat evenly and, therefore, cook evenly. Maybe I just received a lemon. Too bad.

Can you say grill time?
We grilled veggies on this pan this weekend. Some grill seasoning, fresh herbs, basalmic vinegar, olive oil and voila! This pan sizzled and brought out all their awesome flavors. The pan is large enough for a crowd, or we put enough on for about 4 people and there was plenty of room to spare. Of course, you need good oven mitts to take it off the grill as it will be very hot. I always look for versatility when I buy my kitchenware and this pan meets my standards! I can use it on the grill, in the oven or over a camp fire. Roomie enough for meat and veggies for a one skillet meal. For my oven, the pan is a bit large for one burner, but it could be done--but why cook on the stove when you can use your grill?

  • Triple-ply stainless construction

  • Dishwasher-safe; oven-safe up to 550 degrees F; broiler-safe

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Giving All-Clad a Run For Their Money!!
I'm a fan of multiclad cookware, the kind that takes heat conductive aluminum and surrounds it with easy to maintain stainless steel. Professional cooks swear by it, but I'm just a home cook, and didn't even know about until a few years ago while watching America's Test Kitchen. This popular PBS series tests kitchenware, and reports their recommendations via their TV show, as well as 2 different magazines they publish. All-Clad cookware has always ranked up there as the best, but at a high price!

Fortunately for us middle class working stiffs, other cookware manufactures have picked up on the multiclad concept and have been producing their own versions. Enter Cuisinart's MultiClad Pro line.

This particular item takes all the benefits of multiclad and gives us a reasonably priced alternative. Compared to the All Clad Stainless Steel 3-Quart Saute Pan with Lid, which is 1/2 quart smaller and at...

2. So sexy and cooks amazingly!
I spent more hours than I want to admit researching and choosing pots and pans. I ordered several different sets including Cuisinart's Chef's Classic 7-piece set and the MultiClad Pro 7-piece set. I ended up returning both and purchased individual pots. If you purchase Multiclad pots individually, you don't end up paying too much more than a full set would cost, but you can choose the exact pans you want. I purchased a 10" saute pan, 1.5qt sauce pan, and 4qt sauce pan and I use every pan almost every day. If I bought the 7- or 12-piece set, I'd save some money per pan, but many of the pans (8qt stockpot, for example) would sit idle.

I really liked the idea of getting a saute pan because it holds way more food and is more versatile. I can cook for 2-5 people with the same pan, whereas the 10" frying pan that comes with the 7-piece set can barely make enough for 3 people.

It cooks very evenly and like others have said, can be made non-stick with the right...

Pans Don't Get Any Better
MultiClad Pro pans are "da bomb." It really doesn't get much better. Ok, I'll admit the handle rivets are a little hard to wash around sometimes, but I love the strong handles so I will put up with the rivets. Once thing I really love about these pans is the way the lid works with the pan to roll condensed steam back into the pan instead of it rolling down the side of the pan.

  • Long ergonomic handle with stainless-steel rivets and hanging hole
  • Dishwasher-safe; suitable for induction stovetops; oven-safe to 400 degrees F
  • Measures approximately 8 by 1-3/5 inches; Lifetime Guarantee

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Best non-stick surface!
I fell in love with LeCreuset cast iron pots, so when I wanted to replace my stainless set, I looked into LeCreuset tri-ply. I cook every day, and I have been very very pleased with my tri-ply set. Comfortable handles, easy-pour edges, and of course, even heating from heavy-duty high-quality pots and pans. At the time we bought the new set, we also ordered a non-stick pan because we go through omelet pans every couple years. Most recently, we bought Calphalon non-stick. BUT, the new LeCreuset are far superior to any we've ever had, plus, a 10-year warranty on the non-stick coating is very generous. This surface is the smoothest I've every used. It feels oiled, even when spotlessly clean. After loving our small omelet pan, we bought this larger one for scrambled eggs, sauteed veggies, and grilled sandwiches. We use it almost daily. Although the material says dishwasher safe, I prefer to hand-wash it, and it cleans up with just a wipe with a sponge. We use one or both of our LeCreuset...

2. Absolutely Fantastic
Great product Le Creuset. We own several other sets and this was not disappointing. Perfect weight distribution, beautiful finish and a perfect size for individual omelets.
The item arrived fast, well packaged, undamaged.
I would recommend this item. It isn't cheap but the quality and the fact that it will last for a very long time will make up the difference between this, and a less expensive pan.

Great pan
We have several of the le creuset cast iron pots and pans, but wanted something a bit lighter in weight for cooking eggs every morning - this is perfect.. the non-stick surface is great - the eggs seem to "float" on top of the surface. Highly recommended.

Trudeau 0823004 Electric 11-Piece 3-in-1 Fondue Set

Cheapest Trudeau 0823004 Electric 11-Piece 3-in-1 Fondue Set
==================================================================

The Trudeau electric fondue pot makes the inconvenience of sterno a distant memory! The 11 piece set is a space saver offering the choice of either hot broth or oil based fondue for meat and seafood or just pop in the stoneware bowl for cheese or chocolate fondue. The mirror finish 18/10 stainless steel pot rests on a modular warming base that has a non-stick warming plate with a variable temperature control. The built in light indicates either on or off. The electric fondue also comes equi...
  • Electric fondue pot with warming base and 56-ounce stainless-steel pot
  • Stoneware insert for cheese or chocolate fondue; variable temperature control
  • Pot suitable for stovetop use; 2 loop side handles; fork guide
  • 6 stainless-steel forks included; break-away power cord for safety
  • Measures approximately 9-2/7 by 9 by 9-2/7 inches; 1-year limited warranty

This Fondue give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Best electric fondue pot available: stylish, quality, functional.
The Trudeau electric fondue pot is a triumph of form following function. Being electric it is very convenient to use and arguably safer than "sterno" units. It is versatile and can be used with cheese, meat or dessert fondues. Compared to others presently on the market, it has the distinct advantage of being the only one truly designed for all three types of fondue.

I tested the Rival and the Cuisinart. Both use direct heat technology, which is fine for oil or broth based fondue which require high heat. However, when you cook cheese or dessert you have use a low heat setting. Both units cycle between "on" and "off" at various intervals trying to keep a steady temperature. This creates either rapid boiling or fast cooling. Making a cheese or chocolate fondue with the Rival and Cuisinart is doable, but be prepared to be stirring the pot a lot to prevent scorching the food. The Westinghouse seems to be the same design as the other two, but I have not tried it...

2. excellent all around fondue pot!!
Never thought I really liked Fondue until I went to the Melting Pot for dinner on my birthday. Quite expensive so I decided to try it at home. After much research I picked this pot because of its dual bowl system. You can do cheese, chocolate and broth. This pot kept all of our courses hot enough without scorching. Nicely sized for our family of four. I would buy this pot again if I needed to!

FANTASTIC
This fondue maker is Fantastic. My wife and I make cheese, chocolate and wine-based fondues and, with the included double - boiler, it does not scorch and keeps a good constant temperature. It heats up quickly and provides an excellent dining experience.

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Very nice pans!
I bought these pans for my sister for Christmas. She liked them very much, so I bought them for myself as well. They are very good pans. The bottom is heavier than I'm used to, so it takes slightly longer for the pan to heat, but once it does, the heat is very well distributed. The nano ceramic coating makes cooking easier in that you need very little, if any, oil. I'm thinking about getting the saucepans as well.

2. Very non-stick, but some design problems
I have been using this set of skillets for 2 months, and so far the non-stick surface is holding up perfectly. I sometimes use oil in the skillets, but have never used cooking spray. I think the red color is attractive. The fruit pattern is a little odd, but I store the skillets in the cabinet so it doesn't matter. The largest skillet is uncomfortably heavy with the lid on, but it is nice that I can mix up a sizable casserole in it easily. My complaints are that the lids don't fit snugly (more steam escapes around the edges than through the vent in the lid), and that the smallest skillet is very poorly balanced. It's handle is the same size as the handles of the larger skillets and is too heavy, making the skillet prone to tipping. Also, the bottoms of the skillets are not flat, but have a pattern that makes it hard to seat them firmly on my old-fashioned electric burners. Despite the problems, I like the skillets better than the Teflon ones they replaced. If the surfaces...

6 months of use and still strong
I was excited to try the ceramic coated fry pans as I had heard you could use metal on them and it wouldn't cause a problem. After 6 months, I find I still use plastic/wood mostly so I cannot say how the coating would hold up under heavy metal utensil use.

One problem I have seen with the coating is along the rims, where they rub against each other when I put them away. I am seeing VERY small bits have some wear to the metal underneath; however, since it is not in the cooking area, and they are very tiny areas, I am not too concerned.

Cooking with these pans has been great, and clean up is so easy. The only time I really had to scrub was after sauteeing asparagus in olive oil in the large pan (I wash my pans only by hand). For some reason it took a couple of washings to really get that 'seasoned' part to come out.

When I was shopping for the pans, I was looking for a good product at a good value. While I wasn't thrilled with the floral design I...
