This Granite Ware 3 pc 33 quart crab and crawfish cooker stock pot is constructed of porcelain on carbon steel. The convenient steamer/drainer insert is perfect for lifting out seafood when cooked. The result is a pot that heats rapidly, is easy to clean and has an inert glass surface so there are no PFOA's or other chemicals to alter food's taste, color or healthfulness. • Constructed of low carbon steel with glass coating
  • Convenient steamer/drainer insert is perfect for lifting out seafood when cooked

This Steamers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Great for Steaming Maryland Crabs!!!
This is a pretty big pot! I'd say you could steam about 3 1/2 dozen or a little more medium sized Maryland crabs. We steamed 3 dozen (but the crabs were a little small) and there was room left for a few more. The insert pot has holes at the bottom and sides which helps them steam faster than when the hole are just at the bottom.

2. Great for Steamed Crabs
This is a huge pot! Great for Maryland steamed crabs. Pot is almost too big for the stove - but works great on a propane burner outside. Crabs do steam a little faster because of all the holes in the insert pot. Also, clean-up is a challenge because it's big for the kitchen sink, but finish/granite ware does clean-up well. Great value.

This thing is huge
I love this pot, but beware, 33 quarts means HUGE. The pot takes up half of my stove - it crosses almost two burners. It's great for what I want to use it for, (mostly hot water canning and tamales) but I really didn't visualize how big it was.

Calphalon Tri-Ply Stainless Steel 12" Everyday Pan & Cover

Bargain Calphalon Tri-Ply Stainless Steel 12" Everyday Pan & Cover
==================================================================

Sloping sides and a low profile make this multi-purpose pan great for stove top meals like paella or oven-to-table dishes.
  • Polished, stainless steel exterior and a satin finished interior.
  • Designed with three layers to ensure even, consistent heating.
  • Oven & broiler safe and Induction capable.
  • Stay-cool handles
  • Dishwasher safe

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Large but great
This pan is somewhat bigger than I expected. The side walls spread out from the base a little more than it seems to look in the picture, but it's a fantastic pan. It's heavy and the base fits perfectly on the largest element of my electric stove. Looks great and fits in with the rest of the Tri-Ply line. The clear lid is great for watching the status of what's cooking without interrupting it. It's large enough to brown at least 3 pounds of ground beef with plenty of room to spare, so capacity should not be a concern at all. You could probably fry 4 medium size chicken breasts or maybe 5 pork chops at once without crowding the pan. I just got this pan, but I expect to use it quite a bit.

2. good for home cooking
Great multi-purpose pan. I switched from Caphalon non-stick cookware to Caphalon's stainless steel after the non-stick surface became worn (which is really unsafe given the chemicals used for the non-stick coating). Anyways, it's a little bit of an adjustment going from non-stick to stainless steel. When you use non-stick, one becomes used to not having to use much oil and still not having a problem with food sticking to your cookware. With stainless steel, I think the trick is to pre-heat your stainless steel pan, cook at a little bit lower setting, and you'll figure out it's just as good as non-stick. My everyday Caphalon works great after I figured out how to use it...cleans easy too. After cooking, I just pour a little water in the pan and let it soak for 30 mins and anything stuck on the pan just comes right off. I also use Bar Keeper's friend cleanser and this stuff cleans it perfectly.

If one could be in love with a pan, THIS IS THAT PAN
It is the one. It is the most amazing, most gorgeous pan i have ever encountered. It is build very solid, i never felt it was flimsy or breakable. It is nice and large but not so large that it heats unevenly on the burners. It is OVEN SAFE- sear the steak, pop in oven, voila you made an awesome steak on a stove top! The ban is not non stick but if you work at the proper heat for the food, heat up the pan, then add your oil/butter and HEAT IT UP TOO- the ban is virtually non stick. I can make MOST items in this pan but there are a few items i do prefer to make in a nonstick pan- like fry potatoes. For some reason i can not fry potatoes in this, they stick , i ssuspect because the oil gets starchy and in that case a non stick surface is needed.

Bar Keepers friend will keep this pan looking 100% new . It is dishwasher safe- but dish washing detergents will make it dull but clean- so i usually clean in dishwasher then follow up with barkeepers friend- voila new pan...

This Pressure Cookers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. SCREW CANNED BEANS!!
I am not kidding that this machine is awesome. I can make tons of homemade hummas in a few hours.. chilli in no time. i'm drying tons of dry beans now and they are coming out great. I use to spend $2-$3 bucks on organic canned beans.. well that's a thing of the past.. I really am into this machine.. I HIGHLY recommend coming from a very lazy vegan.

2. Perfect for Esselstyn/McDougall Low-Fat Plant-Based Diets
My parents have been following Dr. Esselstyn's "Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease" plan for over a year (very successfully, I might add) and were consuming canned beans like crazy. Unfortunately, canned beans often contain added sodium, and organic beans can be quite expensive. After reading the other good reviews here at Amazon, I decided that this bean cooker would be the perfect Christmas present: My parents could buy dried organic beans in bulk for a fraction of the cost of canned.

We were all dismayed, therefore, to discover that the cooker's instructions required you to add oil to the beans to prevent them from foaming and possibly clogging the outlet vent. (Oil is a big no-no on the Esselstyn plan.) My father contacted the manufacturer, who said that it should be fine to omit the oil as long as you didn't overfill the cooker. (My own research on the Internet confirms that the admonition to use oil is a holdover from the days of exploding jiggle-top pressure...

Great product to create healthy meals!
I bought this product about 3 months ago and have made many of the recipes in the booklet and have adapted a few to my family's tastes. It is easy to use. This product is a boon to the working mom. I can create economical healthy meals for my family in less than an hour effortlessly. No fancy ingredients. No soaking of the beans overnight or a "quick" 1-hour soak before cooking for 2 more hours! Highly recommend.

Cook N Home 9-1/2-Quart Stainless-Steel Juicer Steamer

Buy Cook N Home 9-1/2-Quart Stainless-Steel Juicer Steamer
==================================================================

9.5 quart stainless steel juicer steamer with stainless steel bottom pan
  • 9-1/2-quart stainless-steel juicer steamer with aluminum-clad base
  • Side loop handles on each of the 3 vessels for safe, secure transport
  • Secure-fitting lid with loop handle helps keep in heat and moisture
  • Cleans easily by hand; safe to use on any stove top
  • Measures approximately 12 by 12 by 14-1/2 inches

This Steamers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Cook N Home Steamer Juicer
This is the greatest juicer I have ever used! I juice elderberries every year to make concentrate for the flu and cold season. These little berries are very hard to juice, and with the hanging time involved (usually over night) it took at least twelve hours just to get the juice. With this steamer juicer I had pure juice in one half hour and had made the concentrate and water bath canned it in a total of one hour. I have also used the steamer juicer for stawberries, blackberries, apples, and tomatoes with wonderful results. Winemakers and home canners would be doing themselves a big favor by purchasing one of these, as the time saved and the quality of the juice will pay for the juicer in no time.

2. Process for less!
We wanted a stainless steel juicer to process fruit for making jelly, juice, wine, etc. - this one is half the cost of the original Mehu Llisa brand & works great! Very pleased with our purchase.

steam juicer
I am very happy with the Cook N Home stainless steel steam juicer. I have wanted one since borrowing one from a friend last year. I have used it for juice when my grandsons visited and they were amazed how the juice came out through the tube into the pitcher. The price of the juicer was lower than I had found at other places. Again, I am very satisfied with this product..
this is being posted Oct.2012- 3 yrs after purchasing-I have used this product every year all through the season-we are still very pleased with it and my husband even said he didn't know how we managed without it all these years!!

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Apple of my Eye - Star of my Kitchen
This pan was worth every cent. I like to cook in quantity and put up "planned overs" for later in the week, and in the last six years have been through a number of non-stick pans including Circulon (ugh - stay far away), Calphalon (OK for the first few months), and T-Fal (used to like but no longer).

I kept glancing at the 10" open French Anolon pan I'd bought at Amazon 10 years ago, which is still going strong. The old Anolon admittedly has some discoloration and "seasoning" at this point, but 10 years for a nonstick is nothing to snear at. So I went for this Big Baby.

And love it! This is my go-to pan, even though it's labeled as a saute, I make everything from stews to pasta sauces to chili in it. It's great for stir-frying loads of veggies, and you can whip up healthy fried rice concoctions with leftover brown rice and freshly sliced veggies with an egg or two scrambled in. Speaking of eggs, for brunches I beat together some eggs and eggwhites, then...

2. This is the cookware you've been waiting for!
I bought this about 4 months ago and use it several times per week. Even though I cook a lot, I am not usually one to shell out over $100 on a single pan. This was totally worth it! This one is a keeper. Truly non-stick, easy to clean, larger size can accommodate a big meal! It is heavy, but this helps with even heating (and heat retention). Looks and feels very well-made, should provide one with a lifetime of culinary delights. We're getting to be good friends, this pan and I. Bon appetit!

UPDATE: Over 2 years later (May 2011) and the pan and I are like BFFs. Still cooking delightful meals, accommodating both small and surprisingly large portions, non-stick in-tact. I stand behind my previous review. Add this to your cookware arsenal and you will not be disappointed.

Professional Grade & Quality
This is a great non stick pan that has a lot of great features like see thru glass cover, non-stick surface, non slip handles and is also oven safe to 400 degrees. This pan is very thick which is great for even cooking , the 12" diameter is great on our 12" radiant glass top stove. This pan is also the easiest to clean. ~MET

Magnalite Classic 13-Piece Cookware Set

Cheapest Magnalite Classic 13-Piece Cookware Set
==================================================================

Magnalite Classis 13-Piece Cookware Set Originally developed in 1934, Magnalite Classic Cookware is best known for it's distinctive Cast Aluminum material, timeless design and commercial durability. The casting process enables Magnalite cookware to have varied thickness throughout the pans, maximizing heat conductivity. The pans boast extra thick bases, which allow heat to travel quickly and evenly up the pan sidewalls. Pouring spouts, heavy cast lids and cast-in flame guards combine to cre...
  • Set includes 1-quart and 2-quart saucepans, 5-quart Dutch oven with rack, 10-inch skillet, 15-inch roaster with rack, 3-quart casserole, and lids
  • Constructed of professional-grade, hand-cast aluminum
  • Heavy lids lock in moisture and facilitate convection-style heating
  • Extra-thick bases allow heat to travel quickly and evenly up sides of pans
  • Oven-safe to 350° (roaster to 500°); 50-year limited warranty; wash by hand

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Not Your Mother's Magnalite!
I own five pieces of this cookware branded Magnalite. Four pieces were my mother's. She had them for over thirty years. They were made and marked by General Housewares Corp (GHC), an Indiana company, at their plant in Sidney, Ohio. The fifth piece was made there too but not by GHC and that's the problem. GHC made Magnalite up until 1995 when they sold the name Magnalite and the plant. The fourth piece I own was made in Ohio after 1995 by another company. Though it looks similiar in design, it is measurably half the thickness and weight of my mother's pieces. There is also another company that is using the name Magnalite that is making them in China. Replacement parts for the new Magnalite will not fit the original old pieces. So todays Magnalite is not the same as your mother's. Be advised.

2. The last cookware you'll ever buy
My mother has had this line since she was married in 1970. They have been through everything from burnt-on peanut brittle syrup that required a few hours of steel wool and elbow grease to remove to 35 years of dishwasher cleanings. I expect she'll go to her grave with these pots. I, on the other hand, was married four years ago and recieved a "top-of-the-line" brand of cookware that has a non-stick coating that cost the same as this set. I've now had to replace the non-stick pans because the coating has started to peel, and my pans have never heated as evenly as those of my mother's. I've invested in Magnalites, and I expect they'll be the last cookware I'll ever buy.

Magnalite cookware
This is not like my mother's original Magnalite Cookware set. Its lighter in weight for sure! Not overly pleased with the set. Not up to the standards of the old Magnalite, in my opinion.

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. so happy with this investment
My husband and I are slowly replacing our old cookware with investment pieces. We have wanted to try some All-Clad cookware for a long time and so far, it is exceeding our expectations. The pans heat so much more evenly than anything else we own and they really haven't proven to be a pain to clean (which we were sort of expecting). We heeded the advice of the instructions and the reviews from others and keep the heat lower than we normally would..... cook like a dream. I find the weight of the pans to be really nice. I sort of thought that the lids would be heavier. They are very light, but provide a really good seal. Like some of the other reviewers, I bought some Bar Keeper's Friend, but have only had to use it once. I really like this 5 piece set, too because we didn't get a bunch of extra stuff that we really didn't want... and the price was exceptional (black friday sale).

2. Expensive... but worth it
I waited a while and wanted to use these for a few weeks before really making an informed review. I was concerned after having not cooked on "quality" cookware how much of a difference I would notice or if it would even make that much of a difference in my cooking at all. It did. They wont obviously just make you a great cook just by using them, but once you do get used to them they make a huge difference over cheaper sets. Food cooks evenly, they heat up fast, they hold heat really well, and there are no hot spots that Ive been able to tell.

The only negative that I would consider is the handles for the lids does get pretty hot if you're braising, boiling, or doing anything where steam/heat gets to the lid. Simple solution for me was just to keep a towel close by (which I normally do anyways) and Ive gotten in the habit of using that to open the pots that I know have been on the stove for a while.

Recap, well worth the investment IMO.

Amazing cookware for a great value.
People tell me to get All-Clad all the time because it will make life easier and you'll enjoy cooking more. It's totally TRUE. I didn't know the value of owning a great set of cookware until we got this set. We have an electric cook-top that we do not like, but aren't able to redo the kitchen with gas anytime soon. The high quality of this cookware negates the disadvantages of not having the gas stove we loved in our old place. This is the best set at the best price I have found, and I've been looking for a few years.

  • Hand-washing recommended; Easy to clean non-stick coating
  • Exterior compatible on all induction as well as traditional cooktops
  • Essential cookware item for the novice or well-seasoned cook
  • Perfect bridal or housewarming gift

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. **UPDATED** pay attention to the temperature
suspicious of non-stick surfaces since the first pans appeared on the market, my only experience was with $20 pans with screw-on handles. you know the type. i converted all my pots and pans to all-clad and viking when i moved in 2000 and left non-stick pans in the trash. but. but last year i got an all-clad non-stick pan and i am now a convert. it is a joy to cook with and is as easy to clean as the dinner plates (i do it all by hand).

after reading these reviews i felt compelled to respond. reading about pans and surface coatings i learned that non-stick surfaces are designed to get hot as 500 degrees before they degrade. in fact, the surface material actually "off gasses" before you see the material degradation.

to enjoy the pan the way it was intended do not use it in high temperature situations. if you are going to sear, then oven broil chicken, for instance, use a traditional pan. if you are sauteing onions and vegetables, reducing a stock, or doing...

2. All-Clad is the BEST!
People! If you're going to buy expensive non-stick pans learn the basics on how to maintain them! Read the user directions!! You should not use high heat on ANY non-stick! Using high heat voids the All-Clad warranty! High heat also eventually compromises non-stick surfaces. You should not use aerosol spray oils in non-stick as it ruins the non-stick coating. Use only utensils made to use with non-stick pots and pans. Never put very cold food in a hot pot or pan. You should not clean non-stick in dishwashers - hand wash with Bon Ami and a plastic mesh scrubber. Bon Ami (or similar) also works best on All-Clad stainless. Hard-anodized pots and pans are not dishwasher safe, no matter what the brand. I can boil water in my All-Clad pots on Medium! It IS possible to brown foods in non-stick pans. I have an All-Clad non-stick grill pan (has ridges in the bottom) and I can brown sliced potatoes in it AND bacon doesn't curl when fried in it! If you want to cook as you want and...

Could Be Better
I received my All-Clad set when I got married in 2001. In general I have been very happy with this pan. It cooks great and has been through a lot of use over the past six years.

On the down side the pan is a bit heavy and the handle can get hot toward the base. As a result whenever I am cooking a 1.5lb of ground beef I need to use a pot holder to grab near the bottom of the handle so I can drain it.

The other draw back that I have recently noticed is the non-stick seal is not what it once was. I am very careful with the cleaning, high-heat, and utensils. However, food has been sticking on the pan for the past year and is getting worse.

Since All-Clad is all about durability I expect better.

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Much better than expected
German quality wins again. This nonstick surface trumps anything on the market today. Titanium treated pans from Woll are scratch resistant. The frying pans I ordered are very heavy and have interchangeable grips. NOTHING will stick in this pan….Nothing! You can't go wrong by purchasing any product from Woll. It will be the last cookware product you will ever buy.

2. Best Pan ever
My parents who live in Germany actually got me to try this pan. After over 3 years of use there is no chip or cracking and I use this pan a lot. Whenever I make pork chops I fry them at a very high temperature first. That was really bad for my teflon pans since you should only use those at low temps.
Before purchasing the Woll pan I contacted the main company in Germany and they confirmed that their products can be used at high temps. It does not seem to hurt this pan at all. The only thing you should do is to heat up the pan first and then put the oil in. Also do not use butter or low heat oils while cooking at high temperature. That is not good for any pan. I usually use Crisco.
I also handwash all my pots and pans.
Over time I will replace all my pots and pans with Woll products!!!

Best pan I ever bought
A friend of mine in another country recommended these pans when I asked what do they replace teflon with. It's the best pan ever. Nothing sticks to it and it has easily replaced two nonstick pans and my cast iron pan. The detachable handle is just brilliant and very sturdy; it turns into a casserole and goes straight into the oven when you need to. I am glad the nonstick layer is made with ceramic. I want to cook everything in this pan!

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Best pan set ever!
These are awesome pans! I bought a set on ebay for my son-in-law for Christmas. I checked out the large frypan then another and another. Needless to say, I ended up getting him another set because the first set was mine! He loved the pans and said they are the best he's ever owned! Nothing sticks, they add great flavor. I always liked cast iron because of the flavor and consistancy of the way they cook, but these pans give me the same results. You can fry in them with no oil, eggs slide right out. I turn the hashbrowns and have to put another spatula on the other side because they would slide out of the pan. (I haven't aquired the flip things over in the pan yet)

Here is a true testimonial: I make marinara sauce from scratch. Well, one day I prepared the meat, added the tomatoes and seasonsings etc, covered it and let it simmer while I watched tv. I fell asleep and woke up over 4 hours later! Of course I panicked, what about my sauce? Low and behold, the sauce...

2. After a full year still AWESOME!
Ok, I wanted to wait a good long time before I posted on the Stonedine set.

My wife and I know that for a good set of pans, you will spend $300 and up, so the price was never an issue for us IF the pans were going to be half as good as they claimed to be.

After a full year of use (Christmas present last year) I can say these pans are still just as AMAZING and ROCK N ROLL as day 1!!!

We are a family of 5 and these are our only set of pans we have so, they get used everyday. They are still the BEST non-stick cookware and EASIEST to clean that I have ever used. We previously had spent roughly $700 on a very well respected set and they lasted us about 7 years and even new they were not even close to these $300 pans.

The key, per the directions, is we NEVER use soap on them except fresh from the box with cool water and a small drop of soap. We also did the initial seasoning per the directions. Every once and a while we do a quick spray of olive...

1. Mostly nonstick
Like others, I bought this pan after the New York Times review came out on alternatives to teflon (the review said that this pan was terrific). My husband and I eat omelets for dinner several nights a week and our teflon pans were starting to lose their nonstick properties. This pan can work well for cooking eggs. The trick, as others have noted, is to preheat the pan on low to medium heat and then to give it a light coat of oil before adding anything to it. The day I received the pan I made a 5-egg omelet and it came out well -- I was easily able to flip the whole thing without it breaking. I've also made over-easy eggs and they have come out well too. I like this pan better than my old teflon ones because it's less delicate, it's dishwasher-safe, and I don't need to worry about the coating losing its effectiveness. Plus, it produces food with a nice surface, which teflon has a hard time doing. It is not quite as nonstick as a teflon pan, but it gets the job done (and is much...

2. Answers from LeCreuset Customer Service about this skillet
I have ordered the 10-1/4" skillet, but because of the reviews about sticking/seasoning, etc. I was concerned. So I emailed LeCreuset Customer Relations with my questions and here is what they said (they were very prompt and helpful):

"You are welcome. The change was made [to the satin finish] to allow consumers to use higher heat with the skillets. Seasoning is not necessary since the pan self-seasons as the oil is build up on the surface. Some consumers just choose to do so as a means to help build up the surface. You do not have to use a lot of oil, just coat as you normally would. The more you use the pan and oil it eventually the oil will develop a surface on the finish which then makes the pan act like a naturally nonstick pan. To season, you lightly coat the interior of the pan with vegetable oil and bake in the oven at 200 degrees on a baking sheet for about 5-10 minutes. Afterwards, allow the pan to cool then wipe off excess oil. Your pan can be stored in this...

A Le Creuset junkie
I cook exclusively with Le Creuset, and I love this skillet as I do all my other pieces. They cook food beautifully and are easy to clean. The only time I had something to really stick, I was able to get it out by putting a little detergent and water in the pan and heating it up a bit. The stuck-on bits floated right up to the top.

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Quality Cookware from Anolon
I can honestly say that my wife and I have never used cookware that is of higher quality than this Anolon Nouvelle 10-Piece Cookware Set. We received a set of Emeril Hard Anodized Nonstick Fry Pans(8" and 12") as a gift recently and though decent, the difference in quality is readily apparent. The handles are thin and heat up, and the pans are thinner and cook less evenly. Comparatively the Anolon Nouvelle cookware is thicker with layered bases for even heating and have the best handles I've ever had the pleasure to take a hold of. They are thick and easy to grip, and the ends stay cool even if the pan or skillet has been sitting on the heat for a while, eliminating the need to use pot-holders. Even the smaller stockpot handles remain cool enough to pick up the pot when cooking (i.e. spaghetti). The bases where the handles meet the pots do warm up a little though.

I've had this set for just under two...

2. The primary value is in the appearance and the comfortable handles
Summary: Overall, a solid set of pans. However, there are some trade-offs. I would recommend this set to someone who likes the appearance or the handle design. However, considering the price, I personally would choose to either save money on a set that is very close in quality, or spend a little more money to get an even nicer set. In balancing all the features (some two stars, some five) into one overall rating, I came up with three stars, "It's OK". The smaller cooking surface and the cost were the primary reasons why three stars instead of four or five.

Assumptions: When shopping for a set of pans, I would first make sure I need every pan in the set. Choosing individual pans (instead of a set) can save money and ensure you only buy the pans you truly need. For example, there is not a 12" skillet or 12" sauté pan in this set (which would add cost if you buy separately), and you may not use the included 10" skillet very often (which you still pay for as...

Owned Now for Nearly a Year
Anolon Nouvelle Copper Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set

It would have been a full 5 stars if you could only use them in the broiler for finishing and use them in the dishwasher, but I live in a dream world!

The very first thing I'm going to say is to read the instructions that come with your cookware set very carefully since the manufacture is taking the easiest way out and has printed the directions that are for more than just the Anolon Nouvell Copper Anodized set. It can be quite confusing if you don't have the directions/instructions right in front of you. The manufacturer notes that the copper-bottomed set needs special care before using the first time. Also, this particular set cannot go in the dishwasher.
The second thing I'm going to say is to take their reprimand about dry boiling quite seriously. I haven't done so in the past, but after reading the warning I'm a bit petrified that I may somehow do so in the future and that would be very...

KitchenAid Stainless Steel 10-Piece Cookware Set

Bargain KitchenAid Stainless Steel 10-Piece Cookware Set
==================================================================

This cookware set is an exceptional value, including all of the pans needed to equip your kitchen with the most used cooking pieces. As the set contains only basic pieces, you'll really use each and every pan. It includes saucepans for whisking a homemade sauce or cooking your morning oatmeal, a big stockpot for soups, stews or boiling pasta, and skillets (probably the most used pan in any kitchen) that will help you turn out perfect crepes or a simple grilled cheese sandwich. The set also inclu...

  • Stainless steel construction; dishwasher safe
  • Thick aluminum core base; fully encapsulated in stainless steel, suitable for all stovetops including glass and induction
  • Features handles made of a combination of soft silicone and quality stainless steel. Double riveted for added strength
  • Glass lids allow you to monitor the cooking progress; Oven safe to 400 degrees F

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Great cookware at a reasonable price!
My girlfriend had been giving me a hard time about the teflon coating peeling from the bottom of my old cookware and we decided to go stainless. What a great decision. Over all they require less heat and cook more evenly. Clean up is easy with no threat of ruining a non-stick coating and we are both more relaxed about the potential hazard of teflon coatings.

2. Just what I wanted
These pots and pans are what I wanted. Now to the review complaining about stainless steel being stained, you have to wash them or at least rinse them out promptly if making tea or any other thing like that. If you do get a stain, use bar keeper's friend and it comes out or like the pamphlet says boil some water/vinegar mixture.

We got stainless because it's healthier than non stick and the one time we had a non stick set the non stick peeled off. Really happy I got what I did for 149 bucks.

Kitchen Aid Cookware, stainless steel.
We have been using this set for over a month and it it is very nice looking, very nice to use on the stove, and the maintenance is quite simple, but there will be the need to keep white vinager and baking soda at hand to keep the pans looking as new. We like really this set.

Deals for All-Clad Stainless 3-Quart Saucepan
==================================================================

Preparing sauces, soups, and more has never been easier than with this sauce pan by All-Clad. Near perfect in design, the pan is constructed of three layers of metal; two stainless steel outer layers with an aluminum core. The stainless steel exterior combined with the aluminum core allows the pan to be used on all types of stovetops, including induction, and heats the pan evenly to eliminate hot spots. The included stainless steel lid holds in heat and steam to create succulent and juicy meals,...

  • Three-ply: stainless-steel layers sandwich pure aluminum core for even heating
  • Comfortable lid and stay-cool pan handles riveted for strength
  • Dishwasher safe, but hand washing recommended
  • Lifetime warranty against defects

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. All-Clad Stainless 3-Quart Saucepan - My Favorite Pan!
I love this pan so much I bought 2! The 3 quart saucepan is a perfect size, I use it at least once a day. It is excellent for boiling potatoes, squash, a pound of penne, sauce, reheating some sauce and meatballs etc. It is my favorite of all my All Clad pans. It is made very well, is easy to clean, heats evenly and is designed to last. All Clad cookware is one of the most expensive lines around and it is worth every penny, it really is lifetime cookware. This saucepan is a definite must have. Very, very highly recommended! A+++!

Also, if you should get something stuck to the stainless steel use a product called "Bar Keepers Friend" to clean it. Most supermarkets have it and Kitchen Etc. and Bed, Bath and Beyond carry it too. The container (like a Comet can) is gold with blue and white writing. All Clad recommends it for cleaning stainless steel and it works like a dream and is very inexpensive.

2. It Goes The Distance...
I have had stainless all-clad products ever since husband #2 (a professional chef) and will use nothing else. The three quart is extremely versatile, especially if you also have the steamer insert. My all-clad saucepans are over 10 years old, but look as good as new and cook incredibly evenly on both gas and electric ranges. I never need to use a potholder, which is very convenient. If you use the good stuff, you only need a few saucepans and you will literally NEVER have to replace them.

I've been using this pan for 15 years.
This has been my favorite pan for 15 years, and my wife and I both cook a lot. About 10 years ago we got tired of handwashing things, so we've been putting these in the dishwasher since then.

It distributes heat well, and the handle stays cool. I've been using All-Clad so long that when I recently used another brand whose handle got hot I practically dropped it in shock. A warm handle? Is that possible?

I can tell that this pan is not new anymore. It has very faint spots about the size of a pencil-eraser on the inside surface.

Based on my experience, this pot will last for at least 50 years and maybe 100.

There may be other cookware this good, but I don't see how there could be any that's better.

Shorten cooking time by up to 70%. Slow cook fork tender stew and brown roasts for the perfect color. Cook fruits and vegetables in minutes. • Warm, brown, steam, slow-cook, and delay-time functions; programmable timer
  • Built-in thermostat; 3 pressure settings; 4 safety features including auto shut-off
  • Removable nonstick inner pot; cool-touch housing; manual with recipes included
  • Measures 16 by 12-1/2 by 14-3/4 inches; 1-year limited warranty

This Small Electronics give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Great customer service, but item quality lacking
Our first Deni went dead after one use. Deni customer service (Keystone Manufacturing) was outstanding though. Since it was a large heavy item, all they required was for the power cord to be cut off and mailed back to them, at which point they sent out a brand new pressure cooker. Unfortunately, the 2nd one arrived with the plastic base pretty much shattered, although there was no damage evident on the box. No problem! Customer service sent another replacement out immediately with no questions. Unfortunately (again), the new unit died after only 2 or 3 uses (at least it lasted longer than the 1st one!). So while their customer service seems great, this particular pressure cooker seems to die pretty easily (at least at higher altitude of the Rocky Mountain region). The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is due to the customer service.

2. With through 4 of these!
I purchased the deni 9780 8 quart pressure cooker and all 4 were lemons. I like the looks and the features of the pressure cooker but they would only work 1 or 2 times and then it would die. This has got to be the worse pressure cooker on the market. Finally i told the deni rep to give me my money back that i think after 4 times that i should have got a good one. Dont waste your money on this lemon.

I like it
I like it. I am new to pressure cooking and have had some perfect outcomes. A few things not quite as good, but think my inexperience was more at fault. I have had great customer service when I called with questions. I needed the larger size for my bigger family and I would definitely buy it again. Have had 2 times when the lid did not seem to seat quite right and steam was escaping. I had to drop the pressure and restart the process. Would like the lid on perfect every time on the first try. There is now way to know it will leak until it leaks but again has happened only twice with many uses.

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Absolutely wonderful!!!
I love this pan! We have a large family and I easily fit 5-6 chicken breasts in this pan at one time.

You don't have to cook with high heat because this pan easily distributes the heat evenly. Low heat is also best so the food doesn't stick.

Clean up is really easy!!! Warm, soapy water and that's it!

This is definitely a quality made pan. I have several pieces from Le Creuset and know they will last me through my lifetime.

2. Great alternative to non-stick
I was looking for a pan to cook eggs (omlets) in, but didn't want to get non-stick, or teflon or whatever. This pan was recommended by the nytimes. It's not as perfect as an old seasoned cast iron skillet, but the le creuset pan is big, heavy and practically non stick, especially if you use a bit of oil. I cook everything in it -- chicken, hamburgers, fried eggs and omlets, sausage, pancakes -- and it's easy to clean, almost as non stick as my teflon pans (which I chucked). For what it is, it's pretty great.

I love, love, love this skillet!!
First of all, let me say I agree with the reviewer who deducted stars from the 9" skillet due to the non-stick coating. Since non-stick coatings are chemicals, I refuse to use any cooking utensil with the coating on them. The original, baked enamel finish on this skillet works great. The secret is using moderate heat and adding oil once the pan warms up, then adding the food items. If the meat sticks, it will unstick as it carmelizes (this also applies to their grilling skillets). I find that I can just wipe mine out and keep using it until I make chili or something messy like that. Then all I do is fill the skillet with water and let it sit a while, then it rinses clean. At the maximum, I've taken a boar bristle brush to a couple of spots once or twice, that's all.

I beseech this company to leave the non-stick coating off their skillets even though one reviewer below seems to prefer it. Or at the minimum give the consumer a choice but I'd bet most would prefer the...

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Buy the one with the loop
This saucepan is great when you're making a big batch of something, but beware that it's quite heavy and can be unwieldy when it's full of food. I really enjoy cooking with it, but when I want to pour things out I wish I had paid the slightly higher price for the one with the loop across from the handle so that I'd have more leverage.

2. Couldn't live with out it! Love this pan.
This 4 quart saucepan is really a must! Perfect for a pound of pasta, boiling veggies, a small batch of sauce, the list is endless. It is also great if you don't feel like pulling out a stock pot or if you are trying to save space on your stove. I love All Clad in general but this one is one of the best. The handle is perfect, the lid is great, it is just an all around great pan and super easy to clean. All Clad quality can't be beat. Once you try one piece you will be hooked too (that is if you are not already :). All Clad offers a lifetime warranty and each piece is superb quality and very well made. There is nothing like top quality stainless steel.

To put it simply, this is a must!
This is a must have pot for any cooking enthusiast that is planning on owning All-Clad's stainless line. The size is versatile, large enough to boil pasta, small enough to make sauces or puddings. I just purchased mine and love it. It cooks evenly and washes up nicely and it's beautiful to look at. I don't think this size comes in any of the sets. You must buy it separately. This comes with a lid already and has a nice grip handle that is easy to hold with one hand, while you are stirring or cooking in the pot. I prefer this one to the 4-quart pot with the two handles as this one is easier to manage at times, when stirring, etc. or when you need your other hand, as I find sometimes in a busy kitchen. If you're thinking of buying a few items of All-Clad, (since they are pricey), this is a must.

Le Creuset Enamel-on-Steel Whistling 1-4/5-Quart Teakettle, Caribbean With classic and modern shapes, there's a Le Creuset kettle to fit into any kitchen design scheme. Also convenient to boil water for oatmeal or french press coffee, a Le Creuset kettle is an easy way to add a small dash of color to any kitchen. Features Single-tone whistle alerts when water has reached a rolling boilGenerous base size for greater contact with heating element so water boils quicklyConvenient quick heating...
  • 1-4/5-quart whistling teakettle made of enamel-coated steel
  • Heat-resistant, ergonomic handle ensures a secure grip
  • Removable round-shaped lid with stay-cool phenolic lid knob
  • Safe for use on all heat sources, including induction; hand wash only
  • Measures approximately 10 by 10 by 6 inches

This Teakettles give to us some advantages, like this :
1. don't buy this teakettle
I received this teakettle for Christmas 2009. By April rust was evident around the lid opening, around the pouring end of the spout, and at the point the spout joined the body where there was a hairline gap in the enamel. I followed the instructions--never left water in the teakettle, never let it boil dry, didn't bump or jostle it. I contacted Le Creuset and they said to send it back at my expense and they would decide if it merited replacing. Three weeks later the replacement arrived. It is now July and every time I put the lid on the teakettle flakes of rust pop out from under the stainless steel ring around the opening. In the last few days the rust has emerged from under the ring, so I called Le Creuset again. After being put on hold twice and finally getting referred to a supervisor Le Creuset agreed to pay the shipping to return the teakettle. As compensation they will give me a credit that I can only use to buy Le Creuset products from Le Creuset at Le Creuset prices. If I...

2. Flawed construction, flawed customer service
Although I've long been a fan of Le Creuset's cast iron enamel cookware, this teakettle is highly flawed. That's because the plastic that encases the whistle and the spout melts. That's right. A teakettle that is meant to be used on heat hot enough to boil water melts when you do so.

I'm now on my third kettle. But it's my last. I bought the first on Amazon and after using it only a couple of times on my gas stove, the entire plastic casing around the spout melted. I figured I had to have done something wrong because, hey, this is Le Creuset -- they'd never sell a tea kettle you couldn't boil water in. So I bought a second one. And despite using it carefully and conservatively, within a couple of weeks it happened again. So this time I contacted Le Creuset, which disappointingly has a rather rude customer service department, and they said I had to pay for not only shipping the flawed $75 kettle to them but also pay for them to ship back a replacement (assuming they...

A very durable classic, if you follow the care instructions.
I received one of these as a gift when I moved into my first apartment. I chose it because of the reputable name and the look of the kettle. I followed the care instructions - never filled it more than half way, never let water sit in it for more than a few hours - and the inside enamel never rusted or cracked. Unfortunately my old roommate had a kitchen mis-hap and burned the entire side of the kettle, which didn't effect the actual use of it but I didn't like the way it looked so I got rid of it. Now 4 years later I'm back to buy a second one because I loved it so much!

  • Keeps food warmer longer than ordinary pots and pans
  • Easy to clean surface

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Not great - but not bad. But made in China
I put "cast iron cookware" on my Christmas list last year, and my husband got me this. First off, it's not very smooth, even after a year of continual use. I very carefully clean and re-season my cast iron after each use. Still, if I rub a paper towel over any of it, I'll have little bits of lint stuck all over it. My two Lodge pieces, which are newer, don't do that - they're much smoother. Also, this stuff is made in China. That doesn't sit well with me (I frankly can't believe my husband got me China stuff when we're trying so hard to get rid of chemicals and questionable items like this, but there you have it). Until someone can tell me that there is 100% absolutely no lead or other crap in there that the Chinese don't seem to mind tossing into things to make a buck or two, I'll always wonder. I'm slowly replacing all my Stansport stuff with Lodge for the above reasons. So I basically gave this stuff three stars because it holds my food well as I'm cooking. My two Lodge pieces are...

2. false advertising
One of the items listed in this set is a 5 quart chicken fryer. This chicken fryer is not large enough to hold a chicken and in fact only holds 2.5 quarts. This is decieving and wrong. I measured the volume with water and rust appeared in the fryer and dutch oven after I measured them. The seasoning was not complete. The handles are very short also. I now understand why the set appeared to be a good value. It's a good price, but you don't get what you think you're getting. I'm going back to Old Mountain cookware.

Good Value
I was really impressed with these. I loved the easy clean and the way they cook. More expensive pots and pans have a certain evenness in the heat when cooking. The metal core of the pan/pot dissipates the heat evenly. I've bought cheap pans that will have certain areas of the pan that burn food while other areas do not get hot. These work just as good as expensive copper core pots/pans at a bargain price. My only beef was that the must have been sitting a for a long time in some dirty warehouse. They arrived pretty dirty. Not a biggie though. I cleaned and seasoned them. Gonna BBQ with these this Summer! :-)

I had a Townecraft home demonstation and thought it was wonderful. The salesman was great and really made me excited. Then came the price. I've bought cars for less than that! I started looking around for that same brand on auction sites and found it 1/2 the price, but still very expensive. I went to the waterless cookware site and decided to give Maxam 9 a shot. It took 2 months to get, but the pans are good heavy quality, very easy to clean, and keep the food moist. Waterless cooking, however, takes patience to get right and you are likely to burn some meals if you stick to the time guidelines in the book. I've had them for about two monts now and finally got rid of all of the old teflon and rusty pans...they aren't coming back. I've cooked with the Townecraft pans before and you aren't going to see enough of a difference to warrant 6-8 times the price. Maxam 9 (World's Finest) is almost as good and won't kill your budget. As Zig Ziglar says "It's easier to justify cost...

2nd UPDATE: The replacement fell apart within 30 days in the same manner as my first set. The steam valve fell out of the lid into the pan. I am returning for refund. I do love the oil-less water-less cooking but will look for a set that will last at least a couple of years.

  • Measures approximately 9-3/4 by 11-1/2 by 10 inches

This Stockpots give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Red Pot for a Happy Kitchen
Compared to my favorite Calphalon Commercial Hard Anodized 8-Quart Stock Pot, the Le Creuset 8-Quart Stockpot is much lighter and easier to lift and carry when filled with liquid. This stockpot is not enamel-coated cast iron like the Le Creuset pots and pans, but the colors are identical. It heats up very quickly in comparison, too. Soups, stews, and stocks cook well in this pot because the lid is tight-fitting. I would like it for a second stock pot in this size. I like the Calphalon stock pots better because they all have pasta or steamer inserts.

The Le Creuset Red Pots are not the same cherry red like their famous heart-shaped 2-Quart Pan, but a slighter deeper shade.

2. Pretty pot, but not a great perfomer
There are a few things I like about this pot. You can get it in attractive colors to match you Le Creuset cookware. It lighter and easier to lift, and also cheaper than my "good" Le Creuset cast iron cookware. It is good for boiling pasta. It is not good for cooking anything that might stick or scorch! I am not a bad cook, but I keep having things stick in the bottom of this pan, which also wore quickly in spite of using gentle stirring implements. It is simply not a high-performance pan, but for just boiling things in water, it comes in handy, and you don't have to be embarrassed if you leave it sitting out, since it's pretty.

Le Creuset stands by their product
I bought my set at an outlet store. I bought "2nd quality" which were supposed to be cosmetic defects only. I started noticing tiny rust spots on the inferior quality products the first month.

I sent back to Le Creuset, and they sent me perfect replacements immediately.

The only negative was having to wait two weeks during the exchange.

But this has been a wonderful experience. I am very impressed with how Le Creuset stands by their products, and how helpful their staff is. I would whole-heartedly recommend Le Creuset to anyone.

1. Follow the (Easy) Instructions and There's No Problem
Sephra Classic 18 Inch Home Fondue Fountain

I bought this cautiously after reading Amazon reviews. I had never even seen a chocolate fountain before, but the doctor I worked for wanted to have 2 going for a Ladies' Nite he was hosting at his clinic. Everything went without a hitch and they were the focal point of the party.

My biggest concerns after reading the reviews was that it wouldn't work, or that it wouldn't work right, or that it would be hard to clean. However, I found the instructions very, very clear and simply followed them to a "T". The instructions aren't hard, long or really detailed, and they seem to be written to take care of any potential problems beforehand.

From this experience, I will tell other novice users a couple things I learned that aren't in the manual that may have contributed to this being such a positive experience. First, I bought the Just Melt...

2. Works well with caramel. Quieter than expected
I was concerned that this wouldn't work or would be very noisy. I was pleasantly surprised to set it up for a party filled with caramel and have it work really well. Everyone enjoyed it and it was an event for the party itself.

Be careful when comparison shopping this item. This one does NOT include chocolate, others do. The box comes with a place for chocolate but you'll notice the description does not include chocolate.

Great for parties!
I purchased this fountain for my daughter's 16th birthday party...and wasn't disappointed at all. It was a huge hit with the teenagers. And it was very easy to clean up afterwards. Definitely impressed. We'll be using it many more times, I'm sure!

This All Products give to us some advantages, like this :
1. EXCELLENT!!
Bought this item for my mother. She called and told me that I have to buy one for myself that it is the best cooking device in her kitchen (and she owns every gadget you can imagine). She says it cooks to perfection. She was impressed with the real cookbook included, not a phamplet like you usually get with crockpots and such. She loves it! (I'm talking about a person who is very hard to please and has been cooking for a family of 7 for 50 years). So it must be good.

2. This hasn't left the counter-top, despite it's size, since we got it....
If you or someone you know are the type that likes to cook at home and are savvy enough to figure out how to research and apply to the kitchen, then this is an ESSENTIAL piece you must have. I am formerly a chef from my younger years but, I haven't lost my passion for home cooked meals that are much much better than going out and cheaper. Anything they do, we can do at home if you only knew how. This cooker WILL get you a few steps closer to 5 star meals. If you don't know your way around the kitchen and want to, this will fool your guests and family to think that you already do. You do not need to be a chef to use this....

We make a point to eat as a family at least once every week so, I gave this as a gift to my mother for her birthday. We have had BBQ'd chicken, my favorite pot roast, & chicken noodle soup. The recipe for bbq'd chicken was in the book that came with it but, we altered it to our liking, mainly using the cooking times listed in book to improvise for the...

  • Compact design and small footprint
  • Digital control, LED display
  • Delay time setting
  • 600-watts power

This Pressure Cookers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Love It! A great pressure cooker at a great price.
This is a great gadget, and much quieter, than any of my other models. I received it and immediately started putting it through its paces. First the water test, it went perfectly, probably did not even "lose" one tablespoon of water. Then made chicken soup, steel cut oatmeal, then black beans, all from scratch; all the food came out perfect.

I could not wait for them to come out with a smaller cooker and was so happy that this came out. As soon as I saw this little baby, I ran down the hall and got my credit card. I am so glad I did.

I foresee no problem using this unit, for me it is the perfect size for many of my recipes. This is my third electronic model, I have several larger ones from other brands, only because there was no smaller electronic choices. I also have had four stove top models which I now rarely use due to the greater ease and safety of the electronic versions.

This model has a DIY, do-it-yourself, option where you can...

2. easy to use
I received this product promptly, within a few days of ordering. It arrived in excellent condition, and very sturdily packaged. Interestingly in unpacking I thought that the pressure regulator knob was missing. Luckily I never discard the box until every piece is accounted for. In this case this knob was found loose in the bottom of the empty inner box. The cord is over 48 inches long and very thick, with a polarized one way plug.As one reviewer said, you really do have to firmly push in the plug, or it will suddenly stop due to this. The inner pot is NON STICK, which is fine by me, although some do not prefer this. The warning says you cannot deep fry in this as it is very dangerous, can cause a fire etc. I did not know anyone would attempt to deep fry or fry in a pressure cooker.

The instructions are straight forward, but must be followed exactly for getting the lid on. I suggest following the pictures showing the direction of the arrows for closing and opening.

Perfect for my needs
Bought this model 4 months ago from Amazon. Had used stove top pressure cookers before. With this one all you do is load it, dial in the type of cooking and come back when it is done. Use it every day for cooking grains. Works perfect, and you don't have to do anything after starting it, like turning the heat down when it reaches pressure.

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. dont waste your money
This is a nice looking set, tight fitting lids. Great to see food through the clear lids. Bought this set and within a couple months of very light use, the pans became pitted and peeling. Never used anything abrasive or metal. Put in the dishwasher a few times but they are supposed to be dishwasher safe. After many phone calls and Cuisinart giving me a hard time about their "lifetime" warranty they finally agreed to let me ship them back (my own expense) for evaluation. They sent out what I was later told "a re-coating of my old pans". Well they looked new and now the lid doesn't fit on one of them. The pan obviously misshapen. Another call to Cuisinart...I will have to send the pan back again (at my own expense) and they will evaluate and send me...whatever (also at my expense). Crap product and crap warranty. Will never buy this brand of pan again.

2. Great set
The Cuisinart non stick set is really nicely made. The bottom is thick and the pans heavy. the nonstick surface really works. This set is a great gift set for someone starting out, as it has the pots, the stockpot, the pan and the skillets. The lids fit very snug.

The handles are nice for holding the pot, although the handles and lids to make this impractical for stove top to stove. For someone looking for a good value, a trusted name, a great starter set, this would be a good choice.

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Either save your money and buy a cheaper set or spend more and get something better
I was given this set a year and a half ago and so far have had to send back three pieces because of the nonstick finish. I will say I like cooking with the anodized - it heats faster and retains heat well so it is easier to cook with. But the nonstick finish they put on this cookware is terrible. It flakes off and scratches easily. I baby them, follow all directions, etc. only use silicone or wood utensils. In my opinion the surface should not scratch if you are using an approved utensil. Calphalon has been good about honoring their warranty and have replaced everything I sent back so far but I am getting tired of having to keep sending things back. As money permits I am gradually replacing mine with Le Creuset. I don't know if the higher end Calphalon is better, but I can't bring myself to spend the money on it with the experience I've had with this set.

2. Excellent Choice in Non-Stick
I've had nothing but excellent results and experiences with this cookware. For the money, I think it's the best you can get. I may use silicone & wood utensils to cook with, and the blue scotchbrite pads to clean them, but I sure as heck don't baby them, and I don't put anything between them when storing. I honestly don't know what some of these other reviewers are talking about. I've had no difficulty cleaning around the rivets, either, and I don't make any superhuman efforts to do so. I've had this set (plus additional pieces in the Simply Calphalon line) for almost a year, use them everyday, and I love 'em to pieces.

*Update - January 1, 2012: Still in use, still doing a great job. So much so, that I've added additional open-stock pieces. Love this stuff!

I Think They're Fine
We have been using these approximately six months now, so I thought it was time for a review. I cook pretty much every day, so this set has received a lot of use. So far, it's holding up nicely. I did go and buy a few special silicone-coated utensils to use (silicone-coated whisk, silicone-tipped tongs, a silicone turner, and a silicone-coated ladle) for when I would really be "getting down in there" and scraping against the pan pretty hard. If I am just stirring some vegetables or something, I use a wooden or nylon utensils, no problems so far. The only pan that has shown any wear on the nonstick surface is the frying pan, which my husband uses pretty much every day to fry bacon and cook eggs, and I think he doesn't always use the silicone stuff but just grabs whatever is handy. We don't put them in the dishwasher, but it's honestly not that big of a deal...I rarely use more than two pots and pans at a time (occassionally three), and I would think unless you're a gourmet chef, you...

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Excellent quality at a fair price
It was finally time to get rid of the old cookware now that the kids are out of the house and I didn't have to worry about ruined cookware anymore. My plan was 3 mil copper cookware or All Clad. But after seeing this in the store, feeling the weight and quality and then reading a lot of reviews ... I decided to give it a try. My final price with coupon was $320 at BB&Beyond.

First, this cookware is excellent but you have to know how to use it. Put the empty pan on the heat at the temperature that you want to cook at. Wait about 2-3 minutes and then add a little oil or butter (but have your food ready or your butter will burn) and heat for about 20 seconds (butter) to 1 minute (oil). Then add your food. Eggs work excellent this way and just slide off the pan. I have also used chicken broth to cook the egg in (just wanted to see if it would stick) and it did not. So as long as your pan is at the correct temperature and you add some kind of liquid you will be ok.

I...

2. Great cookware!
I absolutely LOVE this set of cookware. I have an induction burner (which I also LOVE), and it can be hard sometimes finding pans that will work. Not only do these work with any stovetop, but they look and feel great. They're very easy to clean, and I haven't had any problems with things really sticking and I don't have to worry about ingesting chemicals from DuPont. While I really only use the same 3-4 pots/pans most of the time, it's nice to have the variety for when you do need something different. The build quality is really solid and like I said, they're so pretty! Was considering the All-Clad, but I think these are just as good and nearly 1/3 the price. Definitely worth it!!

Good product - feels substantial
My wife and I bought this set from a different retailer and have been very happy with the product so far. I have always used stainless steel and my wife non-stick. We were looking at some non-stick sets, but heard from several sources that regardless of the brand you can't count on the non-stickiness to last more than two to three years. Faced with buying a new set every few years, we opted to go for the stainless steel. It can be harder to clean, but lasts much longer.

We looked at Calphalon and All Clad, but opted for the Calphalon due to the lower price and more complete set. A store clerk told us that the All Clad is ultimately a better crafted product (Barefoot Contessa uses All Clad, after all), but for the average home cook you won't see too big a difference. Also - we liked the glass lids so that we can see things cook without letting the heat escape. The All Clad sets we looked at all had stainless steel lids - probably to hold more heat, but again not a...

This Cookware Sets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Nothing is Perfect
My wife and I have spent a lot of money in our life time buying pots and pans. Some even claims "life Time Warranty" and cost triple the price, but nothing last a life time, not even close. When it was time to purchase another set, I did a lot of research (for days). Consumers Report, Amazon.com, etc. Earth Pan received very good reviews over all and it was safe (no PTFEs or PFOAs)- we have young children.

The first few days, everything was fine. We read the instructions twice to make sure we followed everything to the letter.

Cons:
1. Non-stick: It still sticks, and depends on what you are cooking, cleaning up afterwards could still be time consuming.
2. Stainless steel handles gets very hot, so be careful, or get the plastic/rubber handle set.
3. Somehow when you get stains on the outside of the pots or pans, NO WAY of cleaning it off. I have research the internet and tried everything, and the stains are still there.
4. Like many other...

2. Not worth it...
My husband is very cautious to read reviews before making 'major' purchases. He was very impressed with the reviews and the eco-friendly aspect of these pans therefore he bought the set for me for Christmas (on my request for new pans). I absolutely loved these at first. I made sure everyone in the hhouse knew how they were to be used and cared for so we could keep them like new as long as possible. About 6 months into owning them, one pan got ruined - i think my teen-aged son sprayed cooking spray in it. There was absolutely nothing i could do to get it clean and have things not stick. Now its about 1 year later and the pan i use the most is sticking horribly. I am very dissappointed in these pans and hope that anyone who buys them doesnt get their expectations up too high. We are going with cast iron...tried and true - easier to maintain, clean and more durable.

poor nonstick
My inlaws got these for us because Consumer Reports gave them an excellent rating. We liked the weight and overall quality, and loved the fact that they were made without hazardous chemicals. However, after less than 1 month of proper use, the smallest fry pan had lost its nonstick quality and the next size up was wearing too. We returned the pans and got the similarly priced Rachel Ray set instead. It's been 6 months and the Rachel Ray pans are still in perfect condition.

  • Riveted stainless-steel handles stay cool on stovetop
  • Dishwasher-safe and oven-safe to 500 degrees F

This All Pans give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Excellent Stock Pot and Amazing Value!
Ok, this is obviously not the same as the traditional All Clad stock pots, if it was it would be more then triple the price of this one without the 2 inserts. It is part of the disk bottom collection, however it is still top quality stainless steel and very well made. I certainly would not consider it secondary. It is a little lighter in weight than the traditional All Clad but it is not a light weight pot by any means. It is great for pasta, soup, stew, steaming veggies, etc. You will love it and you can't beat the price. It is very easy to clean and the inserts can be stacked and stored inside. A+

Tip: If you should get something stuck to the stainless steel use a product called "Bar Keepers Friend" to clean it. Most supermarkets have it and Kitchen Etc. and Bed, Bath and Beyond carry it too. The container (like a Comet can) is gold with blue and white writing. All Clad recommends it for cleaning stainless steel and it works like a dream and is very inexpensive.

2. Great value but a different kind of All-Clad
This is an incredible value, considering you get the lid, the pot, and the two baskets at a great price. It performs very well and is a welcome addition to an All-Clad set. However, it is not the same quality as the rest of my All-Clad's. As an example, the lid is made of the same type of steel as my other lids, however, it is thinner.

Don't be fooled!
This is a good product, but not what I was expecting when I ordered it. Don't be fooled, this stockpot is not from the regular line of Stainless products by All-Clad. It's from a lesser-quality line of products. The walls are thinner and it just seems to be of less overall quality than the regular All-Clad products (which are fantastic in my opinion!) Mounted on the bottom of the pan is another piece of metal for conduction (totally unlike regular All-Clad, but just like Emerilware). For the price it is a good product, but if you want true All-Clad quality hold out for the more expensive version.
