1. Small but absolutely beautiful
This kettle is so much nicer in person than in the picture. It appears to be hand brushed (I bought the matte, not the mirror) and the design is the nicest I've ever seen in a kettle. You can feel the quality as much as you can see it. The handle fits the hand nicely and makes pouring easy. Well balanced. For someone with arthritis, this is really important to me. The top has a nice large opening for easy filling and cleaning, and the lid comes off easily - without that hard tug that sometimes is needed when a lid fits just a tad too tightly. My only disappointment is with the size. I wish it held more water. It is enough for a cup or two of tea, unless you fill it beyond the bottom of the spout. The up side to this, however, is that it does not dominate the stove top. I like my tea kettle to be as much a decorative feature on the stove as a functional piece for easy water boiling. 2. Design & function
Beautiful kettle, just as described.
Spout pours well, handle pivots in one direction only (a plus when in action), lid slips on & off easily without struggle, and lid is vented to allow steam to escape. PLUS it does not whistle! Yeah!
